This was the Bills first appearance in Denver since 1977. The previous 9 Broncos/Bills meetings including the 1991 AFC Championship were played in Buffalo.
Terrell Davis' first game as a pro. I remember my dad telling me that he liked what he saw from Davis, and thought he'd be a pretty good back. "Pretty good" was a masterpiece of understatement. :P
Changing of the guard moment in the AFC, the Broncos would take over for Buffalo as the AFC’s best team for the rest of the decade, while Jim Kelly rapidly declined and retired although Buffalo continued to be one of the contenders through 1999
Beginning of a new era in Denver- not just Mike Shanahan's first game, but it was the first game for the Broncos after two longtime defensive stalwarts retired (Karl Mecklenburg, Dennis Smith), and Terrell Davis' first game. Transistion for DEN.
How many father & son Head Coach combinations[or even offensive coordinators, Kyle with Atlanta & Mike with San Francisco] have coached Super Bowl teams.
Pat haden"they've played a lot of man to man this early season" literally the fourth snap on defense I Vern Lundquist and Pat haden we're by far the worst combination on any network I can't stand Joe Buck but I think it's a little bit personal not how he does his job I went to this game in 95 only time I saw the broncos play at home this is the first time I've seen it since kind of neat go broncos although I really hope the bills win the super bowl great fan base
I wonder what would have happened if Elway played for the team that drafted him...the Baltimore Colts. Would this have been enough for the Colts not to leave Baltimore?
If the Colts had perhaps fired Frank Kush,I truly believe the Elway's would've change their stance on the Colts, because of Jack Elway's disdain for Kush's coaching style.

Denver went 8-8 this season and missed the playoffs. They did win back to back sbs but their reign wasn't long at all
Put Coach Shanahan in the HOF! Long overdue
From 1995-1998 four years the Broncos were the most dominant team in the afc if not the nfl. Elway and TD were a lethal combination.
More like 96-98 13-3, 12-4, 14-2, I wouldn't call 8-8 in '95 dominant.
@@mrtnt3462 The Broncos's record of 46-10 in 1996-1998 (including post-season) is still the best three-year record in NFL history.
Shannon sharpe going insane in this game

Senor Stink
Started seeing Easy Ed McCaffrey show what he could do working with Elway. Nice observation. It was the start!
Do you happen to know the cleats td wore this game
Mike Shanahan coaching debut with the Broncos. Wade Phillips was the previous head coach of the Broncos.
Rare TNT nfl game
Uncle Verne!!!
TD for TD and the rest is history! DB4L

Elway walked away from the game 2 time Super Bowl champion. What a way to finish his storybook career.

Mason L “Red” cashion he always called a good game (for the most part)
FERST DOWN!!
I wish Denver would've kept Glynn Milburn and Anthony Miller. Imagine the elements they could've brought to the 96-98 teams
Miller was cut because of Rod Smith's development
1:10:05 Elway with the bullet between three defenders to sharp.
Sharpe.
The end of the Bills short lived dominance of the AFC in the early 90s
short? 4 SB
John Elway beat Green Bay and Atlanta and Bruce Smith, beat cancer. Who's the biggest winner?
Do you happen to have the Global Canada feeds of some Bills games?
What if Elway & Kelly switched franchises during the 80's or Marino & Kelly or Marino & Elway...what if any of the three switched with Joe Montana
All 3 would have done better than Joe Montana with the 9ers because they were better QB's and better football players
I wonder what would have happened if Elway played for the team that drafted him...the Baltimore Colts. Would this have been enough for the Colts not to leave Baltimore?

Dan Reeves almost caused Elway switching franchises with Jay Schroeder ( Washington version ) thank god that didn’t happen.
@@zenoftupac9096 Pat Bowlen said he wouldn't have allowed that trade to happen.

John Elam Jason elway
Both teams had a disappointing season in 1994 with a 7-9 record.
