Make this three or four times a week and been having it for over six months. Definitely feel better. Bowels, breathing and generally feeling better than I used to. God bless UA-cam!
Thank you so much! I had food poisoning a few days ago but the nausea is really killing me. I made myself a cup of ginger tea and my nausea almost disappeared completely. Definitely gonna drink this regularly now.😁
I also let the tea cool and put it into a glass pitcher and refrigerate. I usually do this for the summer and it's really refreshing on a hot summer day. It's become a hobby of mine and I started growing them in a container on my balcony! I love ginger!
I happened to stumble upon ginger on the store, had NO idea what it was for or how to deal with it, found awesome ways to use it but THIS made me happy, my throat has been aching for weeks, ive been sick for so long, this is a lifesaver! Thank you so much!
I have been drinking Ginger tea for years now. But i have never peeled it, i also don’t slice it but i grind it. I went to India in December and discovered Turmeric tea. So i grind turmeric root and let it sit in heated almond milk. I add nutmeg powder and cinnamon powder. Let everything sit for 5 minutes. I can really recommend it!
I cut my ginger root up in the size of a quarter about 10 pcs. I then place in a coffee filter and run thru my coffee maker. This is quick and works perfectly! I yield about 4-6 cups.
The skin of the ginger root has excellent drawing properties. Peel the skin off the ginger root and place it over the wound. Can be covered with gauze and skin tape. Also, "lightly" rub the sliced end of a ginger root over a wound, you will see little hairs start to come up immediately. The more you rub the ginger root over the wound, the longer the hairs will grow until you actually have a little brush. This is great for keeping wounds or an open wound clean. If necessary, slice off the used end and start over. Only the very tips of the hairs need be used. It's amazing to watch!
I prepare ginger tea from fresh ginger, is really good and beneficial for the body, however I do slice roots with peeler.the rest of the receipt is same. Really great taste!
I, for one, happen to appreciate a little arthritis and inflammation in my life, not to mention a lovely susceptibility to upper respiratory infections. Different strokes.
im guessing it has to do with the fact that making tea is such a basic skill that the video seems redundant.... You just grate ginger and add boiling water. Who would have guessed ? almost like u do the same thing with literally all other teas
I peel the ginger chop it up boil for 3min put in cup with all ginger pieces drink the tea then eat all the softened bits of ginger ,then I eat raw garlic wait 1or 2hrs and I feel amazing while running
Dear friend, maybe put a little honey in it and try to take a lot of buffered vitamin C powder like our alkalini-C And use a good source of quercetin. Both can be found on alkalineforlife.com oh yes, don’t forget your chicken soup. Be better soon.

You’re so great Dr. Susan such a delight to have seen you and your explanation of ginger facts and the tea. I’m making some now for my pregnant 🤰🏻 wife. 🍵 💗 You’re amazing. Blessings.
Ginger root with turmeric and lemon slice thanks dear Susan , glad you said about ginger helps ovarian cancer. Tc stay safe and keep drinking your precious ginger .:-)
Many thanks--I'll buy a grater and try the tea, I've been chopping the ginger, and putting it in a tea bag 'ginger tea' and chewing on the root as I drink the tea. But I like the idea of steeping the whole, unpeeled root.
I like to optimize my food and drinks. In this case I would potentize the ginger tea by adding fresh turmeric powder, pepper and coconut oil. The last two ingredients enhance the absorption of the curcumenoids in turmeric and I suspect the coconut oil would also enhance the absorption of the constituents in ginger.
Easy, easy to grow. Just buy at the chinese market. Cut into small knobs and let sit until small white knobs form. Then plant near the surface in only light sun or shade. Harvest when tops start dying.
This makes it look so labor intensive! Just slice the ginger, put in a cup and pour hot water over it. No need to grate, etc. Unless you are using organic ginger, it should be peeled. It is easiest to peel with a spoon rather than a knife. If you do choose to grate, use a small porcelain grater made just for ginger. Ginger is very stringy and if you grate with a regular grater, it will be nothing but strings and most of the ginger stays on the grater! The porcelain graters do not have holes, rather bumps that don't catch the ginger.
very helpful video! thank you for posting this, I'm a ginger tea-fan myself but just started making this and using ginger, so I really appreciate this video :)

Admirable Lady! Doesn't beat around the bush but describes what she's there for. The old American way.

You seem like a very nice person
Vic Rivera yes she seems to be very very nice
This is the first video of hers I've so far, and I immediately thought the same thing
It’s cuz she’s old
GalaxyPineapple978 maybe she’s not used to making a video’s, age has nothing to do with it.
I was just thinking that....
I cut my ginger root up in the size of a quarter about 10 pcs. I then place in a coffee filter and run thru my coffee maker. This is quick and works perfectly! I yield about 4-6 cups.

You can skip steeping and let the ginger sit in the nearly boiling water for 5 minutes covered tightly or in a thermos… less killing of enzymes.
