Emailer here - cheers for the battle result! I was able to win eventually but only by losing every single unit apart from Skarbrand! Just regarding campaign stuff at the end - I was spending skulls as I was getting them occupying province capitals. Tzeench actually traded becoming my vassal for a settlement so he's on board, and the endgame crisis is Chaos Dwarves.

Man, Khorne is not really for me, but Skarbrand's animations are SO cool. I love how he just soccer kicks dwarves around.
I love how a mad charge against the ranged troops was not only the right tactic to use but also the most Khorne thing to do.
Regarding the 5min rule, I had a particularly long battle against Bretonia as Vamps and near the end the AI just straight-up stopped moving their units. I was able to surround and overwhelm the remaining units one at a time while the others just stood by watching
This is actually one of my friends campaigns, he could win the battle but left with only skarbrand

That mad scramble to catch the last reinforcements which mainly where ranged was epic and a good call. Being able to recognise opportunities and change plans at the drop of a hat, as things change. Has to be one of the main reasons why you are as good as you are at these game. That and your patience, knowledge, rational thinking,…
So yeah you being so good and creative at these battle and campaigns means these battles remain interesting even after all the videos I’ve watched over the years. That and your voice and personailty makes you and endlessly rewatchable content creator in my opinion so thanks for all the entertainment.

That’s one of the ideas I think CA should take from Age of Sigmar. Khorne gets Blood Priest with prayers.

Skarbrand has uknowingly fallen under the influence of Zteentch. He kills in the name of Khorne the Blood God but he listens to Legend and the voice of the trickster God.... It's a powerful a team up between 2 forces of chaos bringing the strengths of two God's together.

hey legend, i think you are wrong about melee infantry. if good unit is used correctly it can punch multiple of its own worth.i had battles as DE fighting HE where my witch elves had multiple hundred kills on each unit. same goes for nasty skulkers , zombies and probably many many more. ofc you didnt have any of those but such generalisation is pure wrong
He's really not. Melee infantry can do well if everything lines up well, they get the right enemies and the right situation and the battle difficult is not giving them extra stats, but they'll still take damage and lose models ultimately needing turns of recruitment to replace after getting condensed down. Ranged and single entities are good regardless of the target, dont have to take losses to do damage, have a much higher damage ceiling, way higher sustained DPS and will be an army that makes it the full way through a mission into enemy territory and back home.
Take 5 units of each kind. Even your best anti large AP infantry, lets say Black Guard of Naggarond will still take 50% damage on one unit taking down a necrosphinx, since only one unit can fight them at a time and even then only the models in contact with the enemy can actually do the damage. Your Shades will not take a scratch if correctly used, the enemy will die on the approach, and all can shoot them at once.
A shorter edited video might bring you more watch retention and views, you might as well make some money before burnout

Khorne is just a really boring faction to play. It's the only daemon faction I can stand playing at all but it's so boring. Basically the entire W3 starting lineup was dog shit.

1. Stop being stupid. Historical ran for a while, people got tired of it being purely historical since the battles are much simpler now he's doing some TWW3 mixed with historical.
2. Instead of complaining send in save files. He can only play what he gets.

Even on Legendary this game is fcking boring. The AI is just stupid as hell. Can't wait for Manor Lords. Total War is like you buy every year a new Call of Duty, no good ideas, no innovations..the low Player umbers of the newes TW Games just say all, only Warhammer is well played. Creatie Assembly needs new Ideas, and a fucking new Engine and Code! The old one is absolut buginfected because it's so old!! It's still the Empire Code which don't allow CA to fix all the Bugs Warhammer 3 has or make the AI better..when they change something they have cuz old Code hundreds new Bugs. They fix one and get two new Bugs. It's Chaos
