Finally a concise explanation of basic coral terminology !!!! …. and with a bonus of what make a good starter coral ! When I started, I spent hours on the net to understand these terms. You’ve created a resource and saved many from search engine hell. 👍 Many thanks, Jim
close to 2 decades in the hobby and those video are really good! I'm excited for the next part! would be great to see Thomas and you in an other series together!
OH NO!!! Does that mean we are losing you after the next 5 videos? I hope they are 2 hour long videos, I still have so much to learn. I like the original BRS videos, but sooo much of that info is beyond my level. My largest setup is a 32g AIO and I feel that a majority of the content shared by Ryan and Randy are directed to those who have much larger systems. I enjoy their shows as well and watch them while taking care of tank maintenance but am at a loss trying to figure out how to scale down that knowledge to my tank size and type. I hope this won't be the last we here from you. Thank you for all you do for the beginners in this hobby. It is VERY much appreciated.
Agree with other posters, you’re definitely one of my favorite UA-camrs, the video quality, content and pacing is top notch. I love the other videos from Randy as well, but they’re normally much longer and contain a mix of info I really want to know and info that’s interesting to know, but not applicable to me. All in all BRS has made me a UA-cam lover, before all I did was watch music videos here and there
Great video yet again. Can I just point out some times some of the easier corals just won’t grow in some tanks. I have a number of soft, LPS and SPS. Put for the life of me I can’t grow birds nest or pulsing Xenia. Go figure.
We split our UA-cam channels so that the reefing community can subscribe to the type of content they're looking for. Ryan and Randy's content is over on our BRStv Investigates channel. Here's a link 👉 ua-cam.com/users/BRStvInvestigates

Man im not a beignner but yet loved your video
Corals are cool.
Macroalgae is better in my opinion ( as someone who likes planted aquariums maybe I'm biased.)
If I ever meet you at one of the shows I want to play a round of magic with you! :D You seem like a guy who likes blue ;)
POGS!!!
I call them corals that could live in the toilet. Hahahaha.

Good video and I like this new guy, but what happened to Ryan or Randy?

@@BulkReefSupply I'll take a look. Thanks!
I've been in the hoppy for over 10 years and I still don't care for SPS corals maybe I'm crazy ?
Nothing wrong with that! Keep the corals that you like 😁
2:31 What kind of Coral is this?
That looks like a variety of chalice, although unsure of the exact trade name.
Please help my corals never open after I get out the pet stor. “(

No such thing as a beginner coral, only beginner skill.
