Letter to myself 14 years later: Boy. Don't worry for what's coming. You now are 9 years old, but one day you will love a girl, and in those times you will know that music has a strong hit on it. You don't know, but one day you will meet a band, whose name is Katatonia. Their album "viva Emptiness" will remind you to your city's slogan "viva Madero", and the girl you see in the portrait will give you remembrance of your girl's mistakes, showing sadness and regret. As well, it will remind you to your night's escapes to her house, when nor her parent's watched her and you arrived to this city as a town foreigner. I hug you, I love you and I set you free.
\\KATATONIA// ❤...You would never sleep at night, If you knew what I've been through, And this thought is all I have, To trust upon when light is goneeeeeeee.....!!!!'
@9rmetal Yeah, funny, I've been trying to figure out how old they are .. at times they seem like grizzled veterans like Paradise Lost but in this one the singer looks 22.
1:33-1:53, this reminds me of another song. Does anyone have any idea what it might be? It just feels like I heard it somewhere before, it might've been this but I doubt it.
Certainly different from the studio version, and its pretty good, but I don't think I would compare the two an awful lot, which is odd, as they are the same song, but this one feels different, but yeah, its just as brilliant.
Awesome ! The live version is different because the guitars are tuned in C (in the studio version, the guitars are tuned in Eb)
Jonas sounds super here. And Anders sounds great too. Always loved his voice.
Far more alive than the studio version.
i love this song!!!

thanks for the great music dudes
I love Jonas Renkse! Hi Corvus! Sher here!
I like it more than the original..is something different with his voice AND I LOVE JONAS SO MUCH

Perfection! 💜
Amazing song!
Classic! 🤘
@BlackRoseImmortal...ok that was damn funny! :D I've never jumped like that at a Kat show either.
@Dream Canal---well this was around 2003 so Jonas and Anders were both about 28 here. I think all the other guys are younger.

I think they played it in faster tempo. Am i right?
Heart shaped box.
Wow. Daniel really sped up the track. Kind of loses a certain melancholy.
Looks like the Tigger fan club went to a Katatonia show. Pretty gay.
Great performance! Too bad this is the worst crowd I've seen yet
