Congratulations to engineering team and everyone involvement on the design technology of this project.my question is now that building prove capable to stand at a level with remarkable performance and result how will this perfect team will prove that this building will remain standing on (a foundation made for it on the real world compares to the one that it was tested on 🤔)to me that will the questions to answers the fondations have to perform as well and better.there is a lot more challenging designs I think that needs to go on the foundation structures I saw my mom house move like a wave and side to side at same time oh by the way I'm in Port-au-Prince Haiti fortunately we sustain no home dommage on the house .now someone could have an idea 💡 of my concerns and questions please I like to see or read from the teams involved on that project
These are seismically designed buildings right from bottom to the top. May be your mother house does not incorporate the seismic design that is the reason it swayed more during earthquake and I guess would have sustained quite alot of damage. Seismic designs are available but the main question is the economics I think. By following seismic design guidelines your house slightly cost you higher than the conventional design but would give you some safety. The choice is yours. I think you can retrofit your mom house and can enjoy more safety level. Best!
@@iftikharkhattak5914 absolutely d cost would bit higher than d non seismic design...for the long run it will be cost effective since this structural concept could offer minimal damage..besides that,d main concern is about d occupant life since it is more precious than anything.
