I really love what you guys said about Hillsong embracing strong theology in their music. It has REALLY shown since their 2016 Hillsong Worship album, and even more so in their recent music!
As a worship leader, this is the main reason I've purposefully chosen to not use a majority of Hillsong's "worship" songs because of their general lack of doctrine coupled with a focus on self instead of God. With the wealth of great worship music available nowadays, I can completely ignore Hillsong and not feel like I'm shortchanging my congregation's service.
