Ren... the time you must spend watching reactions to your song and then commenting on almost every single one. You need to get some sleep I have never seen an artist blow the fuck up in real time and comment on 30 + UA-cam reactions. Im just saying I love you man and you bring connection to an artist easy.
I suffer from depression and this song moved me in a good way. I’m 64 and my husband died last year so it’s been rough, people who know pain have an innate ability to soothe others in a way that few can. You have a beautiful gift Ren, use it wisely. Godspeed.

I know nothing about Auto Immune Illnesses, but i suffer from Decades filled with severe Depression, suizidal thoughts and Loneliness.
About 2 months ago i stumbled upon this Masterpiece created and delivered by Ren. It hit me like a train to the stomach.
I have watched maybe 50 Reaction Videos, professional Musicians, Therapists, Psychologists, Nurses or just random people talking about "Hi Ren",
how much it impressed, moved them, blew their minds. This is something VERY special and unique. And still, after watching it so many times,
i always get goosebumps and tears. Never before in my 55 years of existing ( can´t call it living anymore because of the Depression ) have i been moved so much, have i felt something so intense after hearing a song and lyrics such as in this piece of Art created by Ren.
This is not only a song, this is not only lyrics by a fine and very talented wordsmith ( I think Ren calls this style "Bardcore" ),
this is an experience i will never forget.

Man.. it’s crazy how this video has such a universally “similar” reaction across sooooo many people, but especially content creators, artists, and people deeply affected by mental health. I’ve watched it over 100 times so far. About 60 different reactors, 40+ Ren’s video. I cry during a majority of the reactions. I feel deeply during each and every one. Your reaction was fucking beautiful, coherent, and humble. I heard another reactor say while watching Hi Ren “I’ve known you for 9 minutes but I already feel love for you”. I loved that. And I’ve now watched you for a few more, and I feel love for you. Respect, brother. Subscribed, and about to go peep Mary Sue.

The whole hope part gives me feels, but the part that gets him gets me too.
this is the first reaction i've seen that really gets it. others might have understood it, but you GET IT. and you get me too, as i also struggle with adhd...man, thank you so much for this: i've been a fan of Ren since he started and now that he's growing i feel like he's losing people who actually experience the things he's speaking about, whilst gaining more people who appreciate him just for his sense of music (which is also amazing, but i feel like it kinda looses meaning). so thank you REALLY much for truly listening to what he's saying.

I have the feeling we are experiencing an extremely gifted artist that brings something in an unexpected form that connects to sooo many people. It is wonderful to see that what he is expressing is so universal. And it also feels that just having artist like him expressing his experiences in this way opens doors for a lot of people. We are all human.

Basically means I cannot know if god exists or not, but I think he doesn't (well fairly certain that it does not in the way that traditional religions present). You can be an agnostic theist as well I think. Anyway :), he is not religious, that is what I meant.

It is very rare in todays day and age that you come across someone who puts out content, especially a male who is willing to show raw emotion and when Ren sang about being known as hope. Your emotions changed and they become raw. I doth my cap to you Sir and I want to say be proud of who you are right now. From what I have seen is you have doubts but they remain doubts and you make progress. Panning of the camera, voice change, chord change intensity and the flickering lights, the power in the imagery and artistry here is PROFOUNDLY ASTOUNDING.
Love your reaction and take on this. Ren has just perspectivised this in the way that just relates and connects. I just looked up Authentic and genuine in the dictionary and it just said Ren. Reaction Channels are modern day ways for people to connect in a way that we used to, its sad in a way, but I guess because Ren is actually taking the tie to visit reactors, shows how they helped him, like they've helped me and why they are popular..why you have an audience, you help. Ren is a talent but he's not unreachable, he's down to earth, human and nobody has ever transcribed feelings in the way that I hear his words.

Sometimes it's a blessing and sometimes it feels like a curse. I truly appreciated your reaction to this video. Thanks for sharing your thoughts Linda. I definitely understand what you mean by having so many ideas in your head that sometimes it feels like a blessing and other times a curse. That’s one of the toughest things about me doing contact creation, and especially music where I’ll try and tell stories in my songs. Often times I’ll have an idea for a story and then just lose interest in it a couple days later.
This was a beautiful reception to this song. I ain't scured, brings tears to my eyes every time I hear this song... the struggle is real and he lays it out poetically.

Hi Ren is good because it is honest and true. Your reaction is as honest and true as the song and that makes it good too. I really enjoyed your reaction. I have seen close to fifty people react to this song and your reaction is one of the best because it is naked and honest, no attempts to hide anything. Only just found your reaction to this after following so many other reactions over months - and man, seeing your reaction to the moment “some people know me as hope” etc, got me. That’s the moment (and to a lesser extent the “stand on my own two feet” moment) that still chokes me up 9 times out of 10 when I watch this performance too.
Other than that, what a great reaction and break down of the meaning and applying it in such a personal way, being vulnerable about your own circumstance etc - much respect and best wishes.

Fantastic. I have watched this an unhealthy amount just because it hits so hard hitting. I am learning to embrace both sides as a superpower. Both voices combined can be what drives creativity. Too many times I sabotage my own work, create the greatest thing you have ever done, then destroy because you still don’t think it’s worthy, and you can do better. I have learnt to release it and let it fly because other people don’t know what it could or should have been, only you. Even the successes are failure, they are stepping stones to move forward. Deep down terrified of the recognition we crave. I am 52 I have battled my whole life with myself I didn’t ask to be here but I can’t leave.

My brother, I have so many things to say but just let me say this. Your reaction, and discussion about your own issues, and your raw emotion really makes this beautiful. My many diagnosis (I am a three X survivor) cause the same issues in my life. Unfortunately I have not been able to get to the place where you are now, and still struggles through every single day of my life. However, your words of hope (and Ren's as well) really give me something to think about and consider during my true introspection. Thank you again from the bottom of my soul. Probably old enough to be your mother, yet I felt connected to you, while connecting to REN's raw emotion. Music, like all forms of art, can connect people in a healthy way.
