*BRAND NEW + FIRST DAY* Stagecoach London debut Switch Metrocities for Route W11 | 67016 (YJ73BXD)

Today Stagecoach London debuted brand new Switch Metrocities for the Route W11 contract. This route runs between Chingford Hall Estate to Walthamstow Central. Previously using Enviro200MMCs, the route now uses Switch Metrocity EV 9.6m vehicles. They feature skylights, USB charging facilities (not USB-C) and high back Lazzerini seating with TfL Moquette. These are a great upgrade to the route from the previous allocation but will take time to adjust for the route and is the third full allocation of electric vehicles operating out of Walthamstow Avenue (AW). 379 being the second whilst 616 was the first a few years ago.
