I feel sick at the apparent wall between you and these drones....especially since your reasonable appeal is to simply encourage them to be vigilant to protect THEIR OWN CHILDREN. You aren't asking them to change religions or to go against the governing body. You're basically putting it to them that they can push for reform if they band together in this one particular cause. But you can see how shut off they are from the beginning. I don't understand it. They really do subject themselves to the will and governance of their leaders...and that's it for many of them. Well done! Your video came at the right time for me when I encountered a JW couple in my area. We actually talked for an hour cuz your example was still fresh in mind. *We all need to do this! In my area in Loomis, CA in the USA there was a huge coverup of little boys being molested by one of the leaders. The elders did not warn the congregation, later one of thos victims got df as a teen and committed suicide. They won their case finally after that in court against Watchtower but it was early 2000s and the court case (which I saw in public file) didn't even make the local newspaper, no one really cared like 20 years ago, but that all changed now. We are raising awareness and we demand the protecting of children now from abusive cults.*
I remember the children getting molested in Loomis, CA. This was horrible for those poor kids. I was a victim also and get heated regarding these situations.

I make post to local CSA cases and all the exJW documentary links on local community posts on Facebook and Nextdoor to warn the public of these carts often in illegal areas with no permission to be like “private” parks. I write and call businesses they are in front of to get them to move their “public protest” areas away from children and entrances to businesses because shunned exJW can’t use those stores.*
Those in the organization who turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to the abuse that's going on are just as guilty as the trigger-men themselves. If they're not part of the solution, then they're part of the problem. Period. Case closed.

My wife is also an abuse victim and she has been suffering for over 20 years and none of the witnesses were there to comfort or help her but no, she was excluded to silence her. His demeanor changed when you called out Bro Jones! I’m from Central Texas and my Dad and I back in the day watched the Strange Ones because the elders wouldn’t. I remember during one meeting that an 8 or 10 year old boy went to the restroom. Five seconds later the guy we watched got up and followed. I got up and followed for protection. The boy went into a stall and the man noticed me. I didn’t care. He was up to bad things. He said something slightly sarcastic. I just had to watch him since the elders wouldn’t. Thanks for bringing all this to light.

I also show their own time table chart I have on my iphone and ask if they truly believe this crap that all humans and species of animals come from noah's ark only 4,000 years ago. We reported an elder. He *and his wife* had abused at least two of us (but I think there are likely dozens of victims afraid to speak); they worked in tandem very effectively. She organized all the visits with kids at their house then would leave us alone with him. He is still an elder and had the nerve to call my own father to tell him to shut us up because he could "lose his position as elder." But Anyways, he did not lose his position, he is still an elder with access to lots of little ones. I'm so concerned for those little kids.

Honestly, I hope to acheive that level of forgiveness. ❤ Beautiful example of how to share testimony with witnesses! Watching the man rock back and forth as you shared some painful memories, I realized that he was stemming. He was self soothing because he was hearing information that was conflicting with the comforting feeling that he normally gets from the borg. It was good that you noticed his discomfort and told him, "hey, why am I telling you this, is so that you can help me save other kids" That was brilliant! At the end the man was smiling, and the 2 sisters engaged with concern for your wife. That was beautiful! I plan to try this method, watching for the moment when they feel uncomfortable. That is when they can hear what you are saying. If our words give them a tether to hold on to their humanity, and we use kind words "hey, i know that what im saying is uncomfortable, but here is a solution..." WE might plant a seed of doubt. But If our words are hate filled rage for the organization, then that door will quickly snap shut. Did I just fully wake up? 😮

They listened, somehow they cared, and they didn't try to defend the JW org or accuse the victims of slander. It was obviously an uncomfortable position but they were quite respectful. They keep the Witnesses in the dark about that. For a long time I didn't know. They tell the members not to go on social media, and dont read or look at the news. They tell them that they are all lies, and the members believe it..sad
Since my wake-up call, I've not been out in service and have no intention of going back out. It's not a Scriptural requirement; if someone wants to know about Jesus and Jehovah, I show them from the Scriptures and let them make their own decisions. I'm not getting into debates working for Watchtower. Let them do it!

Personally, when I found out in January about the csa coverups worldwide, I wrote a letter of resignation to the congregation secretary because i was "ashamed of my religion". I disfellowshipped THEM. Most JWs stick their head in the sand and choose to believe what the governing body tell them - it is all lies from apostates. Thank you God that I have a strong personality and high morals. I pray for all the victims of csa, whatever religion 🙏

It’s one thing to be persecuted for Jesus name sake but being persecuted for protecting p dos is another and you can see in the guys demeanour he was nervous and you can see he is just ignoring the facts shaking his head no ; I don’t think cares at all about what was said he just wanted them to leave so he doesn’t have to hear the truth about the organization he follows
My suggestion with your approach is to not go into so much detail or make it complicated, bringing up changes in the elders manual & such...most Jws have NO idea about such info within their own religion & when you bombard them with too much, they will shut down mentally & basically stop listening. Not at all trying to minimize what you went through but realistically you only have a couple minutes to make a point before a jw will stop listening & automatically assume you're speaking "apostate lies" or just making things up. That's how we were programmed & trained. Simply saying you don't agree with how the organization handles child abuse is too vague because Jws have NO idea unless it's actually happened to them personally. I myself assumed it either wasn't happening in "Jehovah's organization" or it was very rare & it was handled properly when it did happen. The Australian Royal Commission changed the game for me. Maybe bring that up, plant that seed(ARC) in their minds, stating how over 1,000 cases NEVER got reported to authorities. The ARC was a legit thing that can't be denied or claimed as an "apostate lie" & maybe, just maybe they'll look into it at some point out of curiosity. Again, not trying to minimize the horrible things you went through, just a suggestion, knowing how stubborn/brainwashed Jws are (as was I). Thank you for your work

The point of the recordings is to show the world the insular nature of the JW religion/high control group/cult. There is a method to my madness. It’s one thing to be persecuted for Jesus name sake but being persecuted for protecting p dos is another and you can see in the guys demeanour he was nervous and you can see he is just ignoring the facts shaking his head no ; I don’t think cares at all about what was said he just wanted them to leave so he doesn’t have to hear the truth about the organization he follows
My suggestion with your approach is to not go into so much detail or make it complicated, bringing up changes in the elders manual & such...most Jws have NO idea about such info within their own religion & when you bombard them with too much, they will shut down mentally & basically stop listening. Not at all trying to minimize what you went through but realistically you only have a couple minutes to make a point before a jw will stop listening & automatically assume you're speaking "apostate lies" or just making things up. That's how we were programmed & trained. Simply saying you don't agree with how the organization handles child abuse is too vague because Jws have NO idea unless it's actually happened to them personally. I myself assumed it either wasn't happening in "Jehovah's organization" or it was very rare & it was handled properly when it did happen. The Australian Royal Commission changed the game for me. Maybe bring that up, plant that seed(ARC) in their minds, stating how over 1,000 cases NEVER got reported to authorities. The ARC was a legit thing that can't be denied or claimed as an "apostate lie" & maybe, just maybe they'll look into it at some point out of curiosity. Again, not trying to minimize the horrible things you went through, just a suggestion, knowing how stubborn/brainwashed Jws are (as was I). Thank you for your work

The point of the recordings is to show the world the insular nature of the JW religion/high control group/cult. There is a method to my madness.
