Opponent misplayed at 2:00 by not attacking with dagger first. Toast made a bigger misplay by not capitalizing on the situation by healing Frozen and informing him that the light shall burn him. This failure to assert dominance is what really cost him the first game.
I'm... I'm not sure of anything anymore. But the profile pic is the eye of Sauron from Lord of the Rings. Uh... probably. Thanks for the existential crisis.
temporus is insane! i was playing against singleton dragon priest as singleton dragon priest and he played a temporus he got from discovering a dragon, i was on 8hp he was on 24 and i killed him in 2 turn, INSANE VALUE i tell you!
savagesaskatch.tv I was playing Singleton dragon priest against Singleton dragon priest I discovered temporus off of netherspite. I was at 24 health and my opponent was at 8. He killed me in 2 turns. We're you my opponent? Like I'm not even kidding I was the exact opposite of this story.
I love the emotional setup and delivery of the 40 damage mind blast. Followed by the look of being completely and totally underwhelmed. "Let's never play Temporus in any deck. Ever again."
Man, you should try that one: 1. Play as warrior. 2. Stack a lot of armor. 3. Play Hungry ettin to give a Wrathguard to your opponent. 4. Equip Bladed gauntlet. 5. Attack Wrathguard by it. 6. ... 7. Profit!
can you imagine that last guy, he's on the grind to legend. He's been playing his top tier jade druid for the past few months, perfecting his strategy. He's only one win away from legend, and he gets fucking memed on by OTK temporus. Id like to imagine he just deleted his account right then and there.
You know. Temporus is just another card to be grateful they changed how legendary drops. That way you only get disapointed once for getting him, and don't have to see him more.
Temporous really sucks, needed taunt to even possibly be viable. I've never dropped it and won and I've never had an opponent drop it against me and lost.
It's not great but it's not THAT bad. It was the first legendary I opened in this set, so I made essentially this same deck, and I did alright with it. Granted, that was in the early experimental phase, but it's not the worst. You're giving them 2 turns first, but they're not able to prepare for them. Your 2 turns are game-winning, they need to kill you given an extra turn at an unexpected time. It happens, but certainly not all the time if you play it smart.
I recently built a deck with a similar idea. It’s a sort of Dragon Priest deck with Temporus, Velen and Malygos. A smite and mind blast with both on board is 34 damage, and if I’ve done damage I might only need the Mind Blast for 20. It’s inconsistent but very fun in the lower ranks.
Hey! Your videos are my higlight of the day. Thanks for uploading them. I still don't understand how can you make hearthstone games so fun to watch. Good luck c:
I don't think you need that many cards for the combo. velen gets to attack for 7. also why no doomsayers? you need them to combo with psychic scream to set up temporus. Binding heal is also pretty good since temporus only costs 7 and you want max hp. If you don't want to go all in on temporus, cut part of the combo, keep velen, and discover temporus with librarian since class cards are so likely to be chosen.
Sure, the good way to choose a replacement is to pick a card that costs 0-25 mana, but limit the choice to priest or neutral cards. Any card from this pool will be great for replacing Temporus.
I think when Toast played Temporus he could also have played Shadow Visions to try and find second mind blast to guarentee lethal once his turn comes around.
Not sure if Jade Druid is still tier 1 in terms of power, but it's in a tier of it's own in terms of shittiness and scumbaggery. I've beaten it once or twice with my homebrew Freeze Mage thanks to Frost Nova+Antonidas, or by freezing them with Sindragosa or Arcane Giants on the board and going face. Still, that requires them to have fairly bad draw, and I can't see any Control decks aside from Exodia decks and Freeze Mage standing any chance against it. Either way, no matter what I play, no matter if I win or not, it's not a fun game. Let them all burn in hell, forever.
Krûk Blood-Axe Im fairly sure jade is now tier 2 and almost hitting tier 3. There are of course salty players from experiencing a long term exposure to the old OP jade decks and still consider that deck OP or tier 1. Same thing for pirate warrior for players, pirate warrior is now tier 3 and some cases tier 4, yet many still hate it and call it OP even now. Heck control warrior as better winrate than pirate warrior. Hell even raza priest is no longer tier 1, its actually tier 3 as of now and big preist took its place as a tier 1 deck. So yes all 3 of the "cancer" decks have fallen from grace and yet many players still see them as "hur tier 1 OP cancer trash"
so question.... how does brann bronzebeard interact with temporus? i am assuming that it does nothing at all except double the animation but worth asking incase i wrong
I discovered temporus in my razakus deck and played him for fun, didn't immediately lose, didn't immediately win, did enjoy myself, and hopefully so did the opponent. won eventually, not sure temporus had much impact either way, but much memery was had and I am pleased
Toast, did you ever find out in your interaction experiments if, if Temporus gets back into your hand on one of your opponents turns and you play it on the first of yours, do you still get your second turn?
Okay but that druid misplay thoo. He wrathed for 3 on the northshire, and spellstoned for 2 on the pyro. Even tho northshire had 2 and pyro had 1, so he coulda cycled wrath on pyro and spellstoned the northshire.
Temporus, because you play him at turn 7 giving your oponente 2 extra turns at your turn 7 is almost hit the concede button. But Millhouse is a 4/4 drop 2. And a lot of times your oponent won't have too many spells on hand. Temporus can be good,if you'r winning and don't need any extra turn or your oponent doesnt have any card left...
Easily Millhouse. If they have even one expensive spell in hand it's just game over. One nourish or ultimate infestation is gg. Firelands is another easy gg, there is just no situation in which the extra +3 stats is worth the risk to get a 4/4 on board.
UnLucky Catfish i have always heard "disguised toast" and never "this guy is toast". Are you sure the correct words are "this guy is toast" that sounds like his name? If the answer is yes then...my life...was... a lie...
Build an OTK deck with Grumble and Zola the Gorgon. It should be possible I think. I've managed to get two 1-cost Grumbles going that can bumb each other for 1 mana but I didn't have any additional battlecries at the time to combo it with.
I think your just playing a bad version of this deck Toast. Try priest quest with draw deathrattles and the plated beetle with twilights call for draw and protection with Amara, then i would include both mindblasts so you have more ways to achieve the 40 face dmg.
I'm not sure about that. Miracle priest powerdraws using combos, and that quest slot on the mulligan lowers the consistency in drawing those combos. Not to mention, Amaria costs 5 mana in itself meaning that you generally can't draw in the same turn and decks that have an efficient way of removing it are able to develop more (e.g. Shadowreaper Anduin decks who want to play anduin either way to kill you and that don't have any other target) Giving time to an opponent will get you killed by Temporus way too often. I don't think the deck is viable either way.
"Giving time to an opponent will get you killed by Temporus way too often" But that's what the quest is for. You get some +10 extra health so that you can survive your opponent's last two turns
androkguz | Yes I read the card I know what it does. My point is that the downside of playing the quest is probably more significant than the upside. When a deck relies on combos to draw and to clear during the early game, minus one card hurts a lot.
Cthu Lhu | No, I got your meaning. However, I was trying to highlight an apparent contradiction in your reasoning. You seem to think that the crux of Temporus is that you die way too often to those two extra turns your opponent gets. Meanwhile, you seem to think that there are things more important to the deck (like 1 card to draw) than mitigating the chance of dying in those two turns.
androkguz | It's not a contradiction. The board state has an impact on the temporus turn, every minion that is alive on the board when you drop Temporus can attack twice. It means that the benefits of having 10 more health is negated by a single 5 attack minion, not to mention the potential for more burst damage. With how snowbally Hearthstone is, a one card differential in the early game can escalate into way more than a 5 attack minion worth of tempo during the late game, and with how slow Amara is to complete, the tempo of a five mana 8/8 doesn't help. With the deck as it is, Toast was able to drop temporus on turn 8 against the rogue for a guaranteed lethal if not killed. Amara wouldn't even have been complete by then.
Opponent misplayed at 2:00 by not attacking with dagger first. Toast made a bigger misplay by not capitalizing on the situation by healing Frozen and informing him that the light shall burn him. This failure to assert dominance is what really cost him the first game.
Jesse Frederick is that a eye of gorgon from God of war
Are you sure it was 2:00
Are you sure that you are using words?
ARE YOU SURE THAT YOUR Alive?
I'm... I'm not sure of anything anymore. But the profile pic is the eye of Sauron from Lord of the Rings. Uh... probably. Thanks for the existential crisis.
12:25
3 dam wrath on 2 heath min, 2 dam spellstone on 1 health min
just goes to show how little cognitive work needs to be put into jades
triggered me so much
yeah! i was really triggered there hahaha
I SUMMON A LARGER AND LARGER MAN
I shouted at my screen that time
I play Jades and that play triggered me.
"Math is hard," says the guy with advanced degrees in Mathematics.
well you got to wait for that Brain CPU to boot up, never mind the fact that it's also "Toast" ;D
Real math doesn't use numbers ;P
One Punch Priest confirmed.

ONE PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNCH *anime opening begins*
"If it's stupid, but it works, it is not stupid!"
- The mighty Jingles
Yeah but the thing is Temporus is stupid and it doesn't work
Does it still count as an OTK if you do it over 2 turns? 🤔🤔🤔
Well, exodia mage also finishes off the opponent in 2 turns, but still everyone says it’s OTK mage so I thint this counts as it too 😆
There's an otk mage now that doesn't run quest.
Does it still count OTK when you use it to rekt yourself.
Disguised Toast 2 Mind Blown
TTK!
Temporus: 6/6 7 mana
*Battlecry* - lose the game
not a battlecry, end of turn effect
Samuel Button you are right, but it doesn't sound as funny
Samuel Button his end of turn effect comes from his battle cry
temporus is insane! i was playing against singleton dragon priest as singleton dragon priest and he played a temporus he got from discovering a dragon, i was on 8hp he was on 24 and i killed him in 2 turn, INSANE VALUE i tell you!

now kith
Ben Rowe This is so powerful. I'm crying
Still better than Millhouse Manastorm
What are you talking about Millhouse Manastorm is a 5 star legendary
Creeper Chap Battlecry : lose a game, Deathrattle : 400 dust. It's GOOD !
Millhouse manastorm is good. It's a 4/4 for 2 mana. The battlecry is bad but it is still OK if you are vs a hunter or some warrior
not with the new I hunt alone - spell only hunter
Millhouse is pure value on turn 1 or 2. No one has big spells that early and he's 4/4. Very risky to play after that though.
Temporus: 7:21
Temporus x2 18:21
kek, he always comes out on the 21st second.
Wow
I love the emotional setup and delivery of the 40 damage mind blast. Followed by the look of being completely and totally underwhelmed.
"Let's never play Temporus in any deck. Ever again."
Am I the only 1 who noticed some kind of girl moaning of pleassure at 1:52 ?
That's probably Lily dying in League again.
LMAO #ExposedToast
All this meme decks in top 1000 legend and i am here geting destroyed at rank 18-14 by only meta netdecks.
git gud?
Get lucky would be more appropriate. (Or play meta netdecks and brain-dead your way into legend.
lots of legend players dick around with fun decks once they get there
No, dude. Git gud
Can I ask you what is tye differents between meta decks and ladder decks?
Is it really a One Turn Kill, when it took two?
he kills in one turn, so it is one turn kill. i mean the turn you die is the turn he kills you so it cant be multiple turns. yea its 02:32 am here
That would make every deck an otk deck
Mr. Sayko where are you? It's 5pm here.
Ray S well i guess what makes a deck otk is the ability to bring your opponent from full health to 0 in one turn after the proper setup.
Matias hmm. Maybe Toast has the answer?
if Toast can't make it work nobody can make it work
temporus played at 7:22
No spoilers at beginning appreciated
Man, you should try that one:
1. Play as warrior.
2. Stack a lot of armor.
3. Play Hungry ettin to give a Wrathguard to your opponent.
4. Equip Bladed gauntlet.
5. Attack Wrathguard by it.
6. ...
7. Profit!
Don't forget to give them cursed blade aswell.
Денис Лямец geez it'd take a lot of games to pull that off.
0.67% of a time it works every time :D
Денис Лямец If that's the actual probability I applaud your commitment to statistically accurate memes.

Note to the editor: CAPS LOCK LEFT ON
Caps on, clickbait title and spoiler in the intro... wtf
Temporus was the first legendary I opened this set.
A minute of silence for all of us afflicted with this terrible fate. I opened 30 packs and he's the only one I got.
It's the only kobold card I ever got but I'm not complaining.... It's damn fun when it works
Temporous really sucks, needed taunt to even possibly be viable. I've never dropped it and won and I've never had an opponent drop it against me and lost.
Daed Lizrad I got it from a golden kobold and won the game but other then that it really does suck
I also don't get why his stats are so low, it's quite a big risk to even play him.
Man if u drop temporous when enemy have 9 cards in hand so what u want?? free win?
It's not great but it's not THAT bad. It was the first legendary I opened in this set, so I made essentially this same deck, and I did alright with it. Daed Lizrad "OH YEAH FIRST LEGENDARY...... ITS ...... golden temporus...?...I mean.... OH YEAH, DUST!
That Druid misplay at 12:20. Shouldn't you Wrath the 3/1 to draw a card and Lesser Jasper Spellstone the 1/2?
Rank 1 plays.
its truth
Man it's almost like they balanced out the 2 insanely good dragon cards they gave priest by giving them the 2 worst legendaries they've ever gotten.
TheCasualOtakuGuy worst is a overstatement
I dont know, priest has had some pretty terrible legendaries
I recently built a deck with a similar idea. It’s a sort of Dragon Priest deck with Temporus, Velen and Malygos. A smite and mind blast with both on board is 34 damage, and if I’ve done damage I might only need the Mind Blast for 20. It’s inconsistent but very fun in the lower ranks.
I was watching on phone and at 12:23 when he said, "I wanna scream at them. Like-" Then I just got loud amber alert sounds.
Opponent: uses hero power on turn 2
Toast: this is a weird deck
But, this is a TTK not OTK, TOAST CLICK BAIT CONFIRMED
Finally, a Get OTK'd deck! I think it's a really under-appreciated deck archetype.
Fr0zen:omae wa mou shinderiu
Finally a deck that I can build... I'll just skip out on doing it.
Temporus plays: 7:20, 18:20
Lmao! "Let's NOT play Temporus, in ANY deck EVER again!"
i almost crafted it out of curiosity lol, glad i didnt
Jop Mens he's ir Hero.
"So much rage so much anger when i first feel u i saw raw potential " to badass
Temporus is not the worst legendary, as it will never cost you the game if you random summon it. Executus still will.
Please don't remind me
Nevar forget.
nice improvement on the intro content, thumbs up !
And so He became One Punch Toast
Hey! Your videos are my higlight of the day. Thanks for uploading them. I still don't understand how can you make hearthstone games so fun to watch. Good luck c:
This deck cant work without taunts and doomsayer
"just give my opp another turn what could go wrong"
0:24 2+2 is 4, minus 1 that's 3 quick maths
Jarczenko quick maffs*
I'm getting the vibe that this isn't a Super Mario World let's play but I can't be sure it might just be a mod
I don't think you need that many cards for the combo. velen gets to attack for 7. also why no doomsayers? you need them to combo with psychic scream to set up temporus. Binding heal is also pretty good since temporus only costs 7 and you want max hp. If you don't want to go all in on temporus, cut part of the combo, keep velen, and discover temporus with librarian since class cards are so likely to be chosen.
librarian?
Pretty sure he meant netherspite historian
TEMPORUS was my first legend opened in packs . . . sad
SAME the shame and the horror
Mine too. Also the first to hit the dust lol
I opened a Golden one...
i crafted a golden one
it has potential though. I wouldn't be too sad.
7 mana - lose the game
Funny thing is this combo is possible with one emperor tick on all combo cards and one coin from a gilded gargoyle in wild
The 1 legendary I got from packs this time was... you guessed it, Temporus. Thanks blizzard!
Floris Kaandorp I got golden Temporus
Werewoolf0 wow you’re lucky I got Zola :(
Zola is at least good in Quest Rogue...
?I can almost make this deck but I'm lacking one card, any good replacements for Temporus
Max Yi Dragon Soul. Then Temporus will be with you in spirit.
Sure, the good way to choose a replacement is to pick a card that costs 0-25 mana, but limit the choice to priest or neutral cards. Any card from this pool will be great for replacing Temporus.
Max Yi millhouse manastorm
stonetusk boar
Yeah magma rager is a great replacement. I play it in my list and it works way better
I think when Toast played Temporus he could also have played Shadow Visions to try and find second mind blast to guarentee lethal once his turn comes around.
Watch the deck tracker. There is no second mind blast
He Only has the mindblast that he has in hand
12:20 wow what a jade druid order
Ah I see now why I'm playin' jade druid. My parents don't love me.
"Did your parents not love you!?"
Apperently it beats jade druid which makes Temporus OTK Priest a tier 1 deck.
implying jade druid is still a tier 1 deck
Temporus is a wincondition for tempo oriented decks, it could be used in OTK if meta is SLOW AF tho
so question.... how does brann bronzebeard interact with temporus?
i am assuming that it does nothing at all except double the animation but worth asking incase i wrong
i dont know about brann but murmuring elemental made the opponent gain 3 turns so i assume brann does the same
I discovered temporus in my razakus deck and played him for fun, didn't immediately lose, didn't immediately win, did enjoy myself, and hopefully so did the opponent. won eventually, not sure temporus had much impact either way, but much memery was had and I am pleased
Brian Dupuis Beautiful words
0:41 LOL thought you said forsen #neverlucky
12:24 why didn't he put wrath on pyro for 1 and draw a card the 2 to other minion
Gigantic misplay - why not coin into shadow visions to fish for the second mind blast ...
I feel bad for the tryhard who just got denied legendary by a temporus deck! XD
Toast, did you ever find out in your interaction experiments if, if Temporus gets back into your hand on one of your opponents turns and you play it on the first of yours, do you still get your second turn?
Wild: Temporus with Mimiron's Head + 2 small mechs of your choice and Inner Fire (Mass Dispel for taunts)
Here a Challenge Use Temporus against a Quest mage and Survive. Winning is just Icing on the Cake.
Why did u censor the second enemy player?
sadly my first and only kobolds legendary so far. ..
no weapon?
At 17:50 why did he not play temporous?
"Temporus will be really good"
Do you think that Toasts parents have disowned him already? If they haven't, then they definitely did when he said "Math is hard"
How to laugh while watching toast just activate subtitles 😂
Can't wait for the All-Star Squad Tavern Brawl. Temporus seems like a strong pick.
Okay but that druid misplay thoo. He wrathed for 3 on the northshire, and spellstoned for 2 on the pyro. Even tho northshire had 2 and pyro had 1, so he coulda cycled wrath on pyro and spellstoned the northshire.
Jade Druid players in a nutshell
Good thing it was the legendary i pulled... right?
Temporus for president!
I like it when he does the maths
What is Toast using that allows you to see what cards you have in your deck?
sadly temporus was my first legendary in this expansion
;-;
EDIT: the first legendary I obtained NOT from blizzard from this new expansion
@Jason Shepard LIES! your 1st legend was a legendary wep you got for logging in!
Zack Campbell oh yeah. Which one did you get?
@Jason Shepard I got the shaman one :( possibly the worst one lol
You are both wrong. Marin the Fox was the first legendary of the new expansion everyone got.
But which is truly worse: Temporus or Millhouse Manastorm?
mindscapejem temporus because at least with mill house there’s a chance your opponent doesn’t have that many spells in hand
Temporus, because you play him at turn 7 giving your oponente 2 extra turns at your turn 7 is almost hit the concede button.
But Millhouse is a 4/4 drop 2.
And a lot of times your oponent won't have too many spells on hand.
Temporus can be good,if you'r winning and don't need any extra turn or your oponent doesnt have any card left...
wont have any spells, bam, UI.
Easily Millhouse. If they have even one expensive spell in hand it's just game over. One nourish or ultimate infestation is gg. Firelands is another easy gg, there is just no situation in which the extra +3 stats is worth the risk to get a 4/4 on board.
Just curious. Why blurr the last guys name? ^-^
12:21 WTF is that spell order and targets? Fuck.
Make a deck with the darkness !!
It took me this long to realize that the voice saying "This guy is toast" can be heard as "Disguised toast"..
Good morning
dude are youu serious
You changed my life forever dude
UnLucky Catfish i have always heard "disguised toast" and never "this guy is toast". Are you sure the correct words are "this guy is toast" that sounds like his name? If the answer is yes then...my life...was... a lie...

So i read the title, and expect millhouse manastorm. Wasnt disappointed however.
Build an OTK deck with Grumble and Zola the Gorgon. It should be possible I think. I've managed to get two 1-cost Grumbles going that can bumb each other for 1 mana but I didn't have any additional battlecries at the time to combo it with.

*please
Should have coined out heal face
Blew that Druid's mind.
is it technically a one-turn? 'cause I count two turns there.
No you dont, it is technically a 1 turn kill.
19:27 How did he make it damage 40 ?? can someone explain it too me
Himo Himo 5x2=10x2=20x2=40
Temporous seems like it'd be good with Evasion on Rouge. They can't deal nearly as much damage to you!
