Hi Craig - Hope you have a great holiday - loved your double up with LFIJ ...two great LFC minds sharing great insights! I hear there were some arses on the stream - Take no notice at all. You are, indeed, a splendid fellow. YNWA
Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk's contract runs out next summer and the 33-year-old Netherlands international says he wants to sign a new deal to stay at the club until the 2026 World Cup
Hello I Duno if I am too late but I need a clarification on the playing squad. So there is a list of 25 or so players. There is also the young academy players. Does LFC have the right to put academy players in EPL, cl, n cup competitions? For eg I am told Jayden Dans is still a LFC player but his name doesn't appear in the short list of 25. How does this work actually?
in champions league players like harvey elliot and danns dont need to be in the 25 list of players, they are in a list called 'List B'. List B players don't need to be on List A '25 man squad' because they are homegrown in the academy :) as for other competitions, theres a lot of updates in he 25 man teams. i think in january teams get re-registered due to transfers
The question who would you have signed for Liverpool from either a premier league club to premier league club or a premier league incoming, i would have picked Calafiori from Arsenal because we really need a CB.
Just read we are looking bringing in two center backs to replace Matip and possible Virgil who is 33/34 and not been offered new deal with Gleison Bremer and Goncalo Inacio both being looked at both have release clauses around the 50M mark!
Bremer just signed a new deal at Juventus and we could have had him cheaper this summer. Inacio was available for £36m last summer so neither of these make sense imo
Liverpool had interest in Andre when Klopp was still here. I am pretty sure the interest went away. This summer we were very close to singing Zubimendi and the reason is because he is a class player. Zubimendi is the backup to Rodri for Spain. Rodri is probably the best deeplying playmaker/holding midfielder in the world and Zubimendi is hot on Rodri's heels. Apparently we will attempt to sign Zubimendi in January again or perhaps the start of next season. Zubimendi was our first choice midfielder in the transfer window, pity he decided to turn us down at the last minute. The fact that we offered triple the wages he was earning showed the club really wanted him. I am glad we did not bring in a quick fix. Liverpool and Slot made it clear that we will only sign players which fit the profile. Gravenberch is going to be a great player too but I think he is more a box to box no 8 and is where he will eventually play for us. In the meantime he will boss the midfield. Zubimendi awaits, hopefully... and can be our next Xabi Alonso...
@@liverpool_fc_tv I know we lost interest from when he wasn't available to when He was but I was mentioning Andre because Craig asked which new signings do we think will do well in other teams. As for Zubimemdi, I believe He will be our focus because FSG no He doesn't want to leave so if they focus on wanting him in January no fans can complain they didn't try.
@@robbieellis4840 All these fools who regurgitate rumours from ITK's are the ones who are making noise. Liverpool's transactions are not run through a playstation playing FIFA career mode.
@@liverpool_fc_tv also fully agree Gravenberch should be a number 8, the problem though is with the pivot system what happens to the likes of Elliot and Curtis Jones. I mean Elliot I want to see playing, Jones is good but as soon as he picks up an Injury it take him ages to get back to form and he needs the bad games to come right but Elliot can be a game changer. I hope we don't sell him. I think we might add a cb in January but I don't think we will be seriously bavk in for Zubimendi. Personally I think FSG have their hope on Bajcetic if He comes good on loan He will full that pivot role and if He doesn't then they'll sell Him to fund a new number 6. I think He could become a fantastic 6, I really like Him but then I also really like Carvalho and we let Him go. I like what I've seen from Slot in pre season and our first couple of fixtures disregarding the first 35 mins and Ipswich but I can help wondering is Szoboszlai a better option in the pivot to free up Mac Allister as Mac looked Fantastic last season when playing as a 10 and Endo covered the 6. Feel His potential is wasted further back the field He find him self.
@@robbieellis4840 Bajcetic is still young and has a long way to go. We will go back for Zubimendi or sign a player like him. The reason why Slot is using Gravenberch over Endo is because he wants a ball playing midfielder for the no 6 position and right now Grav is bossing so we are not going to sign any Joe soap to play that role.
Salah is an all time Legend and a unique figure of the club’s recent history so all these theories of aging players etc are not applicable, not to say ridiculous. He is an ICON and icons are NEVER allowed to leave. Unless we are being run by “professional” people who do not sense the obvious. I am not sure this is secured though. Are you?
Hello Mr Holding I love your program I would love to see your opinion on weather the club should put Jones and Elliott on the tranfair list for January
@@AnfieldAgenda I think you deserved something in that second half, we were arrogant and it showed especially after the first Irish subs. The fans at the Aviva were class though, great day out and certainly did the country proud.
Who do you bench for him? I haven't seen anything impressive from Zubi, he's not a ball carrier or creative... he's not a good tackler... I don't understand the hype around him at all... are people really just this adamant about finding depth? Why would they come to sit on the bench?
@@davidkotze4140 How do you suppose I do that? They should focus on youth players that can supplement the team rather than disrupting the current starters. I just don't think any player in the world makes us better right now, but the age of a few has to be addressed.
I just read FSG bosses have been seen with Netflix again, they already have deal for a fly on the wall documentary for the Redsox season. Now they want to do the same with LFC this must be just about raking in more $$$$$.
Why would I feel embarrassed? I never once called the team out, just the owners. If you paid attention to what I said, I pointed out that (1) I have every faith in Slot but (2) over the course of a long season we will be caught out with squad depth. People like you that take a small portion of what I said and neglect the rest of my point are what’s embarrassing John. Maybe actually listen to what I say and stop trying to be clever. We have played 3 games ffs, hardly time to get carried away one way or the other. I hope I’ve answered your question but again please actually listen to my points in full and not just a clip on social media. One or two injuries and we are in trouble. FSG are cheap and nothing has changed there
I guess Liverpool winning Premiership for the first time in history and first title after a 30 year drought is not enough proof that these owners want to win :smh:
@@AnfieldAgenda Well ok, let's see what happens in December then. Because basically you want them to behave like City did. If they get out of their predicament unscathed, I will concede that you are correct and they lack ambition. But, btw, it's not only that one trophy, plenty more were won under their stewardship and plenty more finals reached.
@@SeanMurphy-pn7uy No, it was Klopp, his staff, players and fans in unison under stewardship of FSG who brought Klopp in to manage the team and win it. And in order to do that not only bought players, but expanded the stadium as well as spent millions to modernise training facilities all the while financially stabilising the club and from a club treatened by bankrupcy turned the club in to best ran club in the country.
