You should wait a little more. 3 new amazing helis coming out soon. just a little wait. hold your purchase. it will be worth. but if you need GPS heli, then this one is the best so far.
Hi Ali. Thanks for the evaluation video. You mentioned the large nut under the motor housing being a safety feature. In my case it turned out to be the opposite. There is a small 2mm screw with washer screwed into the main shaft right underneath the large nut. Supposedly to prevent the nut from unscrewing itself. In my case the brand new heli had 'a screw loose' so to speak and both the little screw and the large nut became loose, the shaft plus everything else dropped and the blade grips damaged the anti rotation bracket. If this happens during intense flying, a disaster!! The reason: missing thread lock glue during factory assembly, I found out.
Mr Ali chamo you are the king of RC Haley's drone planes as well as now you are being cool with the electric scooter and the music I watch your videos love what you do my best to your family stay safe keep on flying and now I have something else on the radar that you just showed me that I must have and that said helicopter thank you again for all you do your friend in Jacksonville Florida Jonathan

Those are great flight times, one year ago. I just got my FW200 V2 and 'hovered' for about 6 min altogether with some interruptions and the cells already dropped to 3.9V each. Had to stop for technical reasons. So I assume I won't get near to this fantastic endurance time, Will have to try again for full test.
Great video , i do not need the fw200 helicopter because of your amazing videos of how to fly a 3D helicopter, I have learned how to do flips and fly inverted.

Hello Ali, again awsome video. Thank you. I would suggest to buy 1 size battery smaller to be a little little bit more away from the motor. Looks little bit crazy to me how close the lipo is in the motor. May I ask you for a additional video? You promised a 3D flight with this helicopter. I still waiting for this video since 1 month :)
Ah I got very busy and i did try 3D on this one but to be honest its just not so good for manual 3D. no idea why but its so slow and docile to move around and control in manual mode. maybe they programmed it better for GPS and auto features but not for manual 3D.
Ali, I know you are tied up Paramotoring, but if you have a minute, can you send me the dimensions of your 11.1V 1500mah BT-17 battery? They are not available anywhere before June, and I need to find a substitute that will fit. Coffees are on the way if you can help. Thanks, Mark
Hello Ali, I would like to know, is there anyway to have a warning (beeping) sound come from the remote control rather than from the helicopter itself when the helicopter's battery is low. Because when flying far away I cannot heard the warning sound from the helicopter. Thank you.
Hi , that is absolutely incredible fligh time. Thankyou for sharing this. Would make a good scale project. You must have some 3d printed ideas coming soon 🤜🤛
@@alishanmao You say different flight modes, just flip into acro and things should stop? When you're flying, what do u do when the LED flashes red and the beeping starts? Do u have a small battery alarm set to a number to remind you to land? Thanks Ali!

I have a brand new FW200 that I got from Heli Direct, along with 3 new BT1500 -17 Li-po's same as Ali is using here, and I only get 8 to 9 min. flights and that's fine, but all 3 are weak. 2 of the li-po's after flying only 6 mins. I get the blinking red Low Voltage light, I land, check the cell's voltage and they have 3.86v to 3.88v per cell which is not close to LVC, should be at least 3 mins. of flying time left. So I have 3 brand new Fly Wing 1500's and I have concluded they are weak and have a low C rating even when new, and notice how they don't even list their C rating? No sense in me trying a 4th. new one. Ali flying with the same 1500 as my 3 and getting 21:36 mins. of flying time? That's some crazy magic there, and I don't believe it. My heli tech said with a 1500 they fly for approx 6 to 8 mins. and 9 at best. I told him this claim of flying a 1500 for 21:36 mins, and he said impossible. Either Ali has a totally 'magic' 1500 or it's a sales gimmick to get people to buy the FW200. Some commenters here are so happy & excited about such a long flight time. DON'T BELIEVE IT !!
Hi Buddy, I do not lie nor I fix my videos. I have flown this heli many times and with those batteries i shown in videos plus you have seen its a straight forward honest video. its all about how you handle battery, I charge using pro chargers, i set my rpm right, i fly and cruise as you have seen in this video. and i make sure to disable the low voltage RTH. so i can drain the battery to its safe limits. if you keep Low voltage RTH on, it will always make you land earlier. another thing, batteries behave different in different temps and weather conditions. if its colder, you won't get much flight time, you have to charge with pro charger in winter and keep batteries warm before using. else you won't get any better flight times. then there are many other factors. you can study about batteries online and learn to get best results from these batteries.
@@alishanmaoAli; Thanks so much for your reply! Excuse my late reply; I apologize for my comment suggesting you might be lying about such long flight times, and I will edit my comment to remove that. My new FW200 has been driving me crazy. I'm an advanced level RC person, I use only high quality hobby grade chargers and know much about Li-Po's, and regularly check their IR or 'internal resistance' I have a Fly Wing 450L V3 and it's perfect, also a YU XIANG Coast Guard heli and it's perfect. But my FW200 (Been flying it in 65* temps) after charging both of my new FW- 1500 li-po's to 4.20v per cell, it has an often constant problem of flying just 5 to 6 mins. then losing power & sinking, then barely hovering above the ground well before it's 1500 li-po's get to 3.84v per cell, so I sent it back to HeliDirect and the tech test flew it, he sent me 2 vid's of it flying well, then he sent it back to me with his FW-1500 that he used. So I then thought that my 2 new 1500's were defective & weak. My first flight using his FW-1500 Li-Po it flew well for 8 mins.=3.84v left per cell, but then shortly after, using his same 1500 li-po again, on the 2nd flight, same problem, after 6 mins. it loses power, then while hovering just above ground, I sometimes get the 'Level 1' red flashing light (Level 2 is auto low batt RTH, but I never get the level 2 faster red flashing) Then I tried my other 2 new FW-1500's again and they are worse, heli loses power & sinks sooner. I then concluded that the Fly Wing 1500 li-po's are weak with a low C rating, not enough power output. Wanting to try a higher output stronger li-po, I bought a new 1400 li-po with 90C 'high discharge' This 90C on it's first flight (68* temp) it was great, flew well for 8 mins. = 3.82v per cell, problem solved! Well no, soon after, using the same 1400 90C li-po, 2nd flight, flew near 6 mins. then the dreaded low power sinking again & hovering just above ground, and no LV red flashing light. Then I tried his FW-1500 again, same thing. My FW200 seems to have 'moods' Everything points to weak li-po's, but a new 90C high output li-po? Something else is going on, maybe defective ESC, or motor drawing too much power? One flight good, next flight low power problems again. I appreciate you writing about for longer flight times... "disable the low voltage RTH" But seems I'm not able to do that, I don't have a smart phone or Android to get the app for those adjustments, I just have a laptop PC and have found no app for a PC to be able to do things like that. And I appreciate you writing about "different temps and weather conditions" I've been flying in mid 60* temps, my fully charged li-po's are taken from my warm house then flown right away, and li-po's usually warm up while being flown as mine do. My 'moody' FW200 has challenged all my knowledge of flying machines & li-po batteries, just when I think the problem is solved, it comes back again. I'll be calling HeliDirect soon and ask them to take back my FW200 on return and send me a new one, as I can see no way of resolving this ongoing problem with my moody FW200. Thanks for your interest & reply, and if you might have any thoughts on my 'moody' FW200? And I've enjoyed your UA-cam video's, thank you! (And soon I will edit my comment, sorry for any perceived offense, when I wrote it I was so frustrated & irritated with my often short flight times & low power problems, then I see your UA-cam with you saying you got 21 mins. & 36 seconds of flight time. When I'm happy if I get a full 8 mins. of flight times.
I believe you have a Faulty ESC or Motor. can you try all your batteries again by turning off the Low RTH and Low voltage failsafe. I normally never use those on these helis@@HeRacesTheSun
@@alishanmao Ali; Thank you, that's what it seems like to me, but here is what is really strange... I sent it to a heli tech at HeliDirect in MA, U.S.A. twice for the same problem, both times he test flew it, and it flew well for 9 to 10 mins. no sinking or low power problems like I have, and he sent me videos of him flying it fine with no sinking or low power problems like I have. He sends it back to me, now 2 times saying it's fine after 3 test flights. I get it here in Arizona, go fly it, and just 2 mins. into the flight it starts the sinking & low power again. (Note about 'RTH' Switch to RTH within 10 meters (18.5 feet) of where it took off, and it will just land, but further out beyond 10 meters it will rise up high & slowly come back and land.) What's more strange is while it's barely hovering above the ground, I fly it out far enough well beyond 10 meters and switch RTH on, and shockingly it increases power a lot, rises way up to about 60 to 70 feet, and slowly flies itself back home, the whole time with lots of power, crazy! The tech and I have no idea why it flies well in MA, but not here in Arizona, and he sent all my notes and also discussed this with techs at Fly Wing the mfg. and they have no idea why this is happening to me, so I have it back for the 2nd time and it's still not right. The tech suggested I do a compass calibration, though the compass being off should not cause the early low power sinking I'm getting, but I don't have a smart phone to be able to download the app to calibrate the compass, I'll have a friend come over with his and check the compass, but I don't think that will help. If the ESC or motor was faulty, why would I once use RTH and the power increases, goes up really high and flies itself back with more power than normal flying? As you wrote... "turning off the Low RTH and Low voltage failsafe" Well I would love to do that, but I don't know how? And I've seen screens for the downloadable app, and it doesn't show an option to turn off the low RTH or LV failsafe, how do I turn that off? Ali; If you lived in the U.S. I would send my FW200 to you, figure out what's wrong, and pay you well to fix it, or I would just give it away to someone as I've had enough of this craziness, it won't fly well very long and nobody can figure out why. Thanks much for your replies and trying to help...
I am sure its some GPS issues you are facing in Arizona. if it flies fine in other areas. make a nice compass calibration and test again. else just set the thing to ATT mode and fly in ATT or 3D. Don't use GPS @@HeRacesTheSun

Hi, alishanmao what other 1500mah lipo battery can i put in this heli besides the (Flywing 1500mah 17wh) am 65 and retired and on a budget just learning and its great but &43 for one battery is out of my budget please let me know i would like to fly longer to get more experience Thank You and by the way love your videos Sincerely Ed
Hello Ed, I have not tried any other, so i can't say which one will fit. just tried the flywing one.
When I fly FW200 in hovering mode (beginners mode) my Fw200 does not go higher than 3 or 4 meters. Is that a true reaction??
that means its in Attitude mode. not GPS mode. if you do not let GPS lock all the satellites, altitude is limited
In the video of teaching me how to fly a RC helicopter is the controller like a PS4 controller?
almost
Ali,just curious, have you experienced loss of GPS signal while in flight ? if you have what happened,if you have not what do you think would happen ?
did not have that issue. anyway if it loses GPS during flight it will switch to altitude and attitude mode. RTH will not work
I love this video for 🚁 rc
Thanks buddy 👍😀
What battery comes with the kit? How long does that fly?
its all in video
Impressive Ali!
it sure is :)
Ali, got a link for that battery?
Get it here buddy: goaff.pro/wuumio
Nice heli sir..support
All the best
Wow that great
Thanks buddy 👍😀
Hello, O wonder if your have tried programmable drones, like to follow a person using camera face recognition, etc. If so please send me a link :D
get a dji drone. they have sdk kits so you can write your own programs
@@alishanmao Cool, thanks for replying! Long time ago I bought a Hubsan FPV plane you showed. Lost it but not before I much enjoyed flying it. It went out of production and I still have the control with a video screen on it, nice product I wish it did not disapear. Thanks for that too!
hello, I am looking for a solution to make the FW200 faster in its forward, backward and lateral movements in stable mode. Is it possible to change a setting for this?
you can play with settings in the app :) or fly manual mode
@@alishanmao I have downloaded the application, what settings do I have to change for this? in manual mode I find it very difficult to fly, because compared to the Goosky S2 the pitch is not maintained, don't you think? as soon as you switch to manual mode, the helicopter drops very quickly. Thanks for your help. fred
@@Freddy-tv2ki All flywing helicopters have this, when you switch to manual mode they drop altitude. you have to keep the throttle up and then switch to manual mode or land and switch and take off. this can't be undone. its the way it is. hope flywing can improve this situation. its about the pitch curves they have programmed
@@alishanmao ok i will try again thank you. concerning the stable mode, I have the android application, but I do not see what parameters to modify to speed up the movements?
Love your helicopter videos.
Thanks buddy. more are coming
Can you give us the dimensions of the Flywing accu with 1500mah?
how is CG ok with this big battery ????
it is ok. you have seen it fly
What is the brand and model of battery you used?
flywing
Ali, I know you are tied up Paramotoring, but if you have a minute, can you send me the dimensions of your 11.1V 1500mah BT-17 battery? They are not available anywhere before June, and I need to find a substitute that will fit. Coffees are on the way if you can help. Thanks, Mark
33 x 25 x 74 mm (H x W X L). Well not busy in paramotoring. its been raining non stop for over a week or more now. what happened to world weather? i moved to this place because it was nice and warm and winters were short, summer were long. but now rain rain rain, it sucks. anyway busy in other reviews :D have fun buddy. hope you find these dimensions other brand batteries.
@@alishanmao I can't thank you enough! I found some that should fit, but may only be 1350mah. I'll buy you some coffees. Here in Florida just starting to get close to 90F, but no rain. Hoping the wind let's up when my copter and radio arrive.
@@Starkman3 No need coffees brother. your following my work is the biggest support. recommend my channel and my videos to more people. 1350mAh will still give more flight time than 850mAh. Have fun.
@@alishanmao I have my chopper, 5 flights, unexplained crash after takeoff on flight 3, broke a servo arm, plastic epoxy fix. Did you have trouble getting canopy on with 1500mah battery? Mine are 71mm long with wires bent to the side, but nearly impossible to get canopy on... so far, 4:30 with 850mah, about 15:00 with 1550mah. Thanks
@@Starkman3 canopy fits well with my 1500mAh, no issues. regarding your crash, many people have reported such crashes. maybe its because GPS or software glitches.
Keep flying Ali 😅😅😅
Thank you :)
@@alishanmao I just got my Goosky Legend 200 S2 RTF. I tried to maiden flight, and every time I throttle up slowly it tips forward, what I’m I doing wrong? Please advice
Thank you in advance!!
@@carvingfool when power up the heli, make sure its on a leveled surface. connect battery and leave the heli on a perfect leveled surface, until its initialized. once done, then insert the battery in the compartment and close it. now take off. but do remember, all 3d helis like these require constant input to take off, you can't expect them to take off like a GPS heli on their own without input :)
@@alishanmao wow you’re simply the best!!! Thank you so very much, I’ll give shot tomorrow, and let you know how it’s goes.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
@@carvingfool always happy to help. have fun
can you make it fly an autonomous mission?
no
Is there a link for the battery!?
i have not found one yet
can it fly 2 hours
no
