Expense ratio of Direct Plan is less so it grows more. In Regular Plan because of brokerage the expenses are more so it is deducted while calculating NAV. So with the passage of time Direct Plan's Nav grows more than Regular Plan's NAV.

If invested regular plan lumpsum in 2015, and it is kept for till now , is the agent still getting commission every month or every year.
Tell in case of monthly dividend and growth plan.
In regular plan, commissions are paid for every day of investment period. It is being deducted on daily basis. If you are able to handle your money on your own, you can switch to direct. Kindly check the tax liability first. You must study before doing this.
It takes hardly 5-6 hours of study without any formula (with the help of tools)
