ARIMAONGA (Nilo Alcala) - Philippine Meistersingers

"ARIMAONGA" [N. Alcala, 2011] is a huge, playful dragon in the skies. It would sometimes swallow the moon thus causing an eclipse. The Maranao people of Southern Philippines believe that making loud noises would force Arimaonga to disgorge the moon.
