Billionaires? Why only billionaires? Everyone, who will not work as a employee is at danger. Britain has become too batsh*t crazy with left wing dreamers who want to throw your money away. The same for the Netherlands, France, Germany, Belgium and so on. If you stay in Europe you only survive in one way: don't work and earn money: what you don't earn, the progressives cann't tax it away from you. Get out of the EU ☝️

I had a British bestfriend and about 4-5 years ago, I offered for him to live in the Philippines or get land here for him and his family so in the future if there were issues, he would have a place he can and his family can go to for safety. I have always had foresight about future emergencies or possible events that may happen, and I feared for his future and his family's future in the UK. I told him I would take care of all the legal matters and I can ensure he would have a safe place here and would not have problems at all. I know foreigners cannot own land here but I have pure intentions to help him because his father helped me sort out some issues for me in the past. I felt I owed him and his father in a way. They're kind people. But he refused my suggestion and I think he even looked down on the idea. We no longer talk to each other and sort of break apart due to personal priorities, but I hope he is doing well in the UK. I think he may have converted to Islam, but not 💯 sure. But I can foresee the future of the UK, it's so sad that he is too blind to see what's coming.

Not to mention incredible food and people and weather and getting to see doctors or dentists immediately... I could go on. I will never leave Thailand now and I have many wealthy friends from the West who have moved here also and loving it for all the same reasons. Getting to see doctors and dentists privately versus a public healthcare service. I'm not saying the UK is great but you're comparing apples with oranges as a privileged expat that the UK has afforded you to be. The average Brit has more disposable income and a much easier work life than the average Thai.

In seriousness, how much good for the country has been done by attracting the serious wealthy? Consider James Dyson for example. A champion of Brexit, sold everyone up the river on the benefits and then offshored his business and family. There's many more examples of this behaviour.
