Switching between exhaust-mode Sport & Cupra in order to compare the exhaust sound while driving the CUPRA Formentor VZ (310 hp).
If you ask me, I prefer the Sport exhaust-mode by far! 👍🏼

😂😂😂 Yes it sounds louder in Cupra Mode for sure! But that „growling“-sound is only in the cabin 😅 caused by the soundaktor.

The Formentor isn't mine :) I have the Cupra Ateca 🚀 I am currently waiting for the Formentor VZ5 with the 5cyl engine to be released 🤩 This could be my next car.

Ist da was am Auspuff gemacht worden oder hast du einfach ne vedanmt gute Tonaufnahme vom fahren? Bei allen Videos die ich bisher gesehen habe, klang der Formentor nie so gut wie bei dir. :) aber der Tipp mit der Einstellung der modis muss ich mir schon mal merken.👍🏼

@@korlife hab mir auch ein Formentor (310)bestellt und kannst du mir vielleicht diesen tipp verraten und kannst du eine Klappensteuerung mit Fernbedienung empfehlen damit ich Sport Modus Dauer offen besseres knallen habe ? Grüße

TIPP: Im Sport Modus klingt er viel natürlicher als im Cupra Modus. Im Sport Modus sind die Klappen weiterhin geöffnet und der künstliche Sound ist hörbar leiser👍🏼
Aftermarket Klappensteuerung kenne ich leider keine, kann dir daher auch keine empfehlen. Der Formentor ist im Video komplett serie ✅
Agree. Sport setting sounds better in all aspects. Is the turbo sound 1:54 also enhanced inside?
You hear the whistle in SPORT and CUPRA mode. I would say it‘s not enhanced inside the cabin..for me the whistle rather seemed to come from the exhaust

Well in my CUPRA Ateca (pre-facelift) 300hp you don't hear that whistle from the exhaust. But I don't know about the newer models :)
@@korlife i have the same car, even with previous infotainment with 8 physical buttons, and turbo noise is descrete. I wonder about Tiguan R, Golf R. Shoud you review them could you compare this feature? Still I consider Cupra Ateca my ultimate car there is.

But I only can tell this with the Ateca 2019 Model, I don‘t really know how the Facelife Ateca sounds like, because I didn‘t have the chance to drive it yet. Hope this helps :)

Yes alles ab Werk 👍🏼 Habe mich ehrlich gesagt gewundert, dass der Formentor so pfeift :D Beim Golf 2 klang das sicherlich besser als beim Formentor :D “Zu gut” für die Kollegen in grün bzw. blau 😄
@@korlife Denkst du, dass es bald laute Auspuffanlagen für den formentor gibt? Opf macht alles langweilig, habe zurzeit noch einen Golf 2 und Hyundai i30n und die sind noch schön laut, leider bald illegal ;(
Mit Sicherheit! So wie es auch bei den anderen CUPRA Modellen der Fall ist, werden neben Akrapovic noch andere Hersteller Auspuffanlagen für den Formentor anbieten (Remus etc.), die dann im Vergleich zur Standard-AGA lauter sein werden :)
Geile Fahrzeugflotte hast Du :) Golf 2 + i30n. Mega! 🔥 🙌🏼 Den Hyundai i30n bin ich selbst noch nicht gefahren, aber der gefällt mir sehr gut! Tolles Auto!
@@korlife Danke für die Antwort, den i30n kann ich wärmstens empfehlen, macht richtig spaß, ist bequem und auch für den Alltag sehr gut. Sound gut, Leistung reicht und Preis ist auch perfekt.

@@korlife so exhoust bangs are very close to Akrapovic optnional in Ateca👍
I would assume the Akrapovic on the Ateca should be louder and more aggressive.. but I didn't have the chance to test drive one yet :)
So, the cabin doesnt have very good soundproofing 🙃
😄 could be an option.. jokes aside :) Like the Cupra Ateca both cabins have great soundproofing.. i would claim that the Ateca has a slightly better soundproofing. it can be very quite inside :) The best way to test this is - in my opinion - to press the horn :D I have a HQ Audio setups, what's why you are able to experience a great audio and video driving footage :)

The pops & bangs in the Formentor aren't really fake with stock exhaust.. they really come out of the exhaust :D Only that "growling" sound when you accelerate is artificially added due to the soundaktor.

Der Klang, der vom Soundaktor (unter der Windschutzscheibe platziert) „künstlich“ generiert wird, ist im Modus Motor-Sound „Sport“ nicht so laut wie im Modus „Cupra“. Der Auspuffklang jedoch bleibt weiterhin präsent - mit all dem Knallen und Poppen 💥 Im Modus Komfort ist alles sehr leise 😅
Daher empfand ich den Modus „Sport“ beim Motor-Sound am besten, da die Klangkulisse natürlicher ist. Der Soundaktor ahmt - warum auch immer - einen V8 nach und das mögen scheinbar einige/viele Cupra-Fahrer nicht so sehr. 🙃

Da stimme ich dir zu 💯 % zu!. Der CUPRA Ateca z.B. hört sich mit Abstand deutlich natürlicher an, da solch ein Soundaktor - meines Wissens - nicht installiert und somit die Klangkulisse echt ist :)
I hate the fakey carbon on the centre of the steering wheel - should have gone with a normal leather. Pops n bangs on decel kill it for me entirely. Other than that, VAGina made a good car for the money they asks.
Yeah I did’t like that “carbon” look first, but got used to it now 😅 doesn’t bother me any longer. But all in all it’s a great car for a reasonable price 👍🏼 Can’t wait for the 5cyl version they will present on Monday 🥳
