Bama state has had best trombones for the last 17yrs. The Ocean's bones did exceptionally well but Bama State's bones are on another level and no one is close. Also the Ocean played Motown Philly in the 90s when it came out and either 02 or 03 when i was section leader of OE. I think Robert Lauder arranged the second one. The first one may have been Sam Jackson or Darwin Walker.
