I think Severus Snape is one of the best and deepest characters of all the film history. He is so broken but he doesn't show it to anyone else. He lost his big love and died with never really been loved. Isn't this sad? I feel so sorry for him! J.K. Rowling said one time:" The speaking head only made seven mistakes, one was to put Snape in Slytherin." He is a Slytherin, died a Gryffindors dead!

Totally agree. The actress who played Draco’s mother was supposed to play the sister but because she was pregnant she didn’t. The books are great but the way the actresses whispers at Snape to get him to do the Blood Oath made it!

James potter was such an ass to him, and he certainly shouldn’t have taken that out on Harry. But if you think about it from his perspective, the boy who made school awful every year, who tormented him daily, ends up with the woman he loves, and he’s left all alone. As a kid I hated him, he was the teacher that every kid hates. But as an adult? I think he’s so sad and full of conflict, and Alan Rickman played him with such a delightful depth and subtle emotion.
