People forget that N.I is a small country with a relatively small population to support an extravagant theme park the likes of which you'd see in England. There just isn't the same amount of money to go around.
Yes, people need to understand that NI does not have the population to sustain a large theme park. Nor that Curry's does not have the money to build a grand, custom rollercoaster from the ground up. I don't feel people get that
As someone who has worked for Curry's since it has opened as Curry's for the kids getting on for free for kids rides such as the toyset and teacup the parents are allowed on to free but for the other rides that are all ages both parents and kids have to pay and I think people just don't understand that. This is extremely bad at the ghost train, pray for anyone working on the ghost train it's only the past week I've been taken off it since it opened and has been heaven getting off that ride
I know, worming on family rides is tough with these types of the people and you handle it very well. Staff are always very friendly and good craic, keep up the good work!
It’s still Barry’s in my eyes. It’s got the same building design as Barry’s. However, I went today and went on 2 rides. I was impressed. Only £6 for 6 tokens. (3 each) I also noticed they added a new Waltzers ride out the back. That was never there when it was Barry’s. That was just empty space. Nice to see they decided to use the space. But, call it what you want, but it’s still Barry’s to me.
@@FairsNParksNI Yeah. I never noticed the Extreme Orbiter out the back at all. Last time I went before it shut down years ago, that splash water ride out the back was shut down and some other bits.
The only issue I have with the dogs is some people don't control their dogs and it could get in the way of a moving ride and it would harm the dog scare some kids so yea
Last time we were at the amusements in the Port was a good 3 years ago. Took the kids today. I like that the rides are all upgraded and we weren't bothered if there was new ones there or not. All that mattered was our 2 kids had a fantastic day and came home with plenty of smiles on their faces. Those moaning about their disappointment that there's not many new rides, it's a pity the moaners weren't as vocal when it came to petitioning to keep the amusements open.
Thank you for sharing your experience! I agree with what you say, its kinda wierd how the same people were complaining about it being sold also complain about the improved version!
DISCLAIMER: I don't mind if you don't like Curry's, it's just that people are being very bias. So don't take anything I say personally

Its the same building, before the waltzer there was the Extreme Orbiter and I'm happy they used the grave yard section of the park by adding the Beast

I mean most owners that come in with dogs know what to and not do, which is great. Dogs have never been allowed in unless they're on a lead aswell.
What happend to the hand that used to pop out from the grave in the ghost train
Owen redesigned it.
It broke, was working working for a while, its been removed so it can be fixed
They should have kept thr Barrys name. Its my only big complaint about it. The name holds alot of meaning to alot of people including myself
They weren't able too unfortunately, thankfully Curry's has a similar ring to Barry's so it isn't that bad
@@FairsNParksNI true. It's unfortunate. But atleast the big dipper is still there It's the first non kiddy ride I ever went on
Well put together video. Very informative 😊
Thank you very much!
It’s great to see curry’s being defended (:
Thank you!
Thank you cause Currys is here to save battery is not here to mess up the place

I totally agree with 'Dogs are allowed'. Some visitors have a fear of dogs commonly due to reasons like dog biting. So yeah. I dislike Curry's.
;-;
I do agree, it's just people have been literally cancelling Curry's because of it
Yeah I have a fear of dogs
Great video 😃
Thanks!
Just to let you know I’ve got two shorts now
OK
