Would be interesting to know what the power consumption was for each. When you're away for a long weekend camping off-grid, you need to factor in how efficient these coolers are how long you'll need to power them for.
The Alpicool was impressive, especially for the price. I’m an OTR trucker and had bought a CFX3 fuel zone Dometic 3yrs ago and it’s still in use. I’ve never had a problem with it. I’m changing trucks and need a smaller duel zone unit. Do I stay with what I know works well or take a chance and change? The price difference is winning.
Thanks for watching!. I've had mine for three years. We travel ALOT. It lives most3in the back of the car. I run it off acsolar generator sovwhen the car is not running the frige continues. Not the miles you do, but it has not failed me. Good luck, and thank you for what you do!
I can. I did measure the sound with an app on my phone. Did not include it on the video. They were very similar. What I did note was the ALPICOOL was a lower pitch tone. Hope this helps.
