  • An exploration into being sustainable adventurers. Greg Hill and Chris Rubens go on a 4000 km road trip, in a Nissan Leaf. Their goal is to prove that adventure is possible with less of a footprint. They climb and ski 6 volcanoes and realize the realities behind electric travel.

Watched this video in Powder.com a copuple of days ago and it is very inspiring.
I live in Chile and we ski in volcanoes also, but we are years ago from electric cars.
    Great job.
    Best regards from South America.
    Ps: what's the song?

But 65% of electricity comes from fossil fuels.

This is very dependent on where you live. I live in British Columbia , where 92% of our total electricity comes from hydro. and I live below 2 massive dams that generate lots. When looking at the USA it is much better to drive an electric car in the west than the east. since the energy production its clean in the west. In the NE and Midwest most electricity comes from coal so not so good....

agreed, in January I started being a weekday vegetarian, and then the meat we do eat is typically locally sourced. Meat is huge but looking at my own footprint it was obvious that travel was my biggest issue.
