  • This is the step-by-step process on how to cook Cebu Puto Maya and Sikwate or Tsokolate.
    #ERRATUM: We have mentioned the word Madre de Cacao when we referred to the Cacao itself; however this is a mistake. It should just have only been CACAO and NOT Madre de Cacao.
    According to our research online, Madre de Cacao are also known as Mexican Lilac but in the Philippines it is known as MADRE DE CACAO or Kakawate or Kawate. Madre de Cacao’s known use is to to shade Cacao trees. But the most beneficial traits of Madre de Cacao is its medicinal properties itself not to mention that it keeps pests and insects away from your other plantations. It’s also very helpful for your dogs if they have parasites and skin allergies.

    Dati pag sa last part nakalagay na ang mga ingredients, ngayon wala na. Noon pa KC yun, iba na ngayon😅😅😅 2024 na KC kaya lahat nagbago na. Hindi na tuloy ako makag pag screen shot.😔😌😟

      1 cup Tapol or purple rice (if available sa lugar ninyo)
      4 cups Malagkit
      2-3 inches na Ginger or Luya
      6-7 cups na Gata ng Niyog
      1/3 cup na White Sugar
      2 teaspoons Salt
      Macuvado Sugar
      Sikwate:
      2 tablets of Tablea
      500 ml water
      Add brown sugar according to taste
