DIVIDED, THE STOLLER OF ROCK, the best bassist in the country, no one plays the bass like DIEGO ARNEDO, there are only 3 musicians on stage, NOTHING ELSE IS NEEDED
The band is called Divididos (Divided) and the song Aladelta (Delta wing); They are: Ricardo Mollo, guitar and voice; Diego Arnedo, bass and Catriel Ciavarella, drums. Here they joke about the bass intro, Ricardo calls him "playful" and Diego responds: - "It's been...(calculates, does mental math)...33 years since I played the bass, I look over there (points to his right) and there is this guy...and he is lucky, and we have to be grateful"; They are very close friends, they have been playing together since they were teenagers and they know each other "to the millimeter."
Well , to be thruthful is not the best video to watch this song. There is a shorter version that its structured as the record version. If you search "encuentro en el estudio divididos". When you watch them live and you know the audience, those breaches that you mention doesn't exists. For example, intro may seem long, but on first part, they play a song from Sumo. An 80's band from Argentina, and guitar player and bass player were part of it. When the singer of Sumo Luca Prodan died, they splitted and form two new bands. Divididos, and Las Pelotas.
They've been playing this song in EVERY concert for the last 25 years.... give them a break to have some fun with it!!

In the first part, Arnedo (the bassist) says to the crowd that he's playing bass for 35 years, and when he looks to the right, El Mollo (singer) is always there. They are from an old argie band called Sumo
At the beggining of the video, the bass player introduce this band's hit, but mixing it with improvisations and others well knowed songs. Then... they joked up with the crowd, while crowd alisted to go into mosh, they slowed down the interpretation in to an unexpected breakdown part, incressing the spectation for the explosive part of the song.

I understand you kind of bored in the break part and In the begining. They were just having fun each other, the original song of course is not like this live.
