Daura-Suruwal (दौरा सुरुवाल) is one of the national outfit of Nepalese men.The Daura is a variant of the Kurta and is the upper garment, the Suruwal is the trouser. The coat was added to the costume by Jang Bahadur Rana, a prime minister of Nepal in the 19th century. The outfit is also popular in Darjeeling in neighbouring India amongst people of Indian Gorkha origin.
Nepal is the country with diversity of culture and tradition.
The major national dress for men is Dhaka topi and Daura Surwal, and Guniyo Cholo for female.
A sari (sometimes also sareeor shari)[note 1] is a women's garment from the Indian subcontinent, that consists of an un-stitched stretch of woven fabric arranged over the body as a robe, with one end attached to the waist, while the other end rests over one shoulder as a stole (shawl),[3] sometimes baring a part of the midriff.It may vary from 4.1 to 8.2 metres (4.5 to 9 yards) in length, and 60 to 120 centimetres (24 to 47 inches) in breadth,[8] and is form of ethnic wear in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.
