The Crew is not the first online only game to disappear and won't be the last. Stuff like that has been happening since online gaming began. When you buy an online only game you need to understand that it will eventually expire.

I don't suppose there's any chance we'll see camera relative parkour back as an update? The game could genuinely play so much better with that from the older games, and the fact that improved ejects shows they are at least somewhat conscious about parkour

yes the crew 1 i bought and had only about 10h into it n never had the time to get into it+the crew 2 that i also bought is not as good as the 1st game i think..so im i mad at this shutting it down? Yes ofcourse...will i buy more online only games? not if i dont have to and definatly not at full price,mayby after its 50% or more discount if its a really great game,but nope not as before when i could buy what i wanted...You could say i opened my eyes after the crew 1 shutdown n still cant get why there was no offline version of the stuff that could be played

It's been permanently removed from the Ubisoft servers so there's no way to play it now. They did the same with the Steep Road To The Winter Olympics DLC.

Add a black dye to the treasure hunter outfit and make ejects from wall runs on plain walls consistent to land his feet. It's doable already in some parts of the map but overall not reliable
C'mon, that outfit has been in game already for long time now. Modders pulled it out so many cool stuff before these "title update". So, what's gon be in next update? Nur outfit?

@@charli4815 I think you’re overreacting a bit, it’s not the worst AC ever but it’s definitely not the best. I know it’s not back to roots either, but it’s a step in the right direction and it’s a good AC gameplay wise. I didn’t really like the Assassins focus ability at first but you don’t even have to use it once you get it, but even though I didn’t like it at first it grew on me and I started to have fun with it. Point is it’s not a bad AC but it’s not the best either, it’s a good AC game that is taking a step in the right direction.

Hi Ubisoft, the game camera must be closer to the character as with Ghost Recon Breakpoint, the distant camera is not nice, make sure you can bring the camera closer to the character or otherwise modify it to your liking

Your progression transfers when you buy the whole game,so you dont have to start from the beggining
you start from where you left off. 90% of all games do this type of thing. i mean playing the demo and then using that save file to continue playing where you left off if you buy the game

Ubisoft, why are you intentionally making all the NPCs in your latest game so unintelligent? From vibrant NPCs like in Assassin's Creed Origins to lifeless ones like in Mirage, it's disappointing. No one wants NPCs that behave like those in Breakpoint. Breakpoint could have been great, but you neglected this fundamental aspect, ruining many potentially good games. Pull yourself together or consider halting game development altogether.

Do keep in mind that Ubisoft wants you to get comfortable not owning the games you bought so it's best not to buy anything from them. The Crew would be your best example.

Why should I support a publisher who despises players, who also removes single-player games while the players, I specify, buy their games, under no circumstances rent them.
Remember: you don’t own the games, not even the licenses and the files. Shutting down servers and multiplayer is one thing but removing and rebuking the rights to even launch and have the game’s files is another.
Even though shutting down servers is basically the same thing you still keep the game and its files, but not in the case of the crew. What they are doing is removing the very right to own the game that you bought with your own money, this should be illegal everywhere.
Please do not block the game when it is April 30, so they downloaded it because I am very busy on those days and I cannot spend it

There were some good things in this game. However there were a few mechanics that went wonky from time to time, like the camera. This would make some of the more challenging jump puzzles difficult to complete.
DLC was minimal. The Forty Thieves story was a minor side quest.
Also, the ending of the campaign did not make sense. They attempted a twist and it did not land the way they intended it to. No spoilers. Next time, maybe they should do a few more drafts with talented writers.
All in all, it was not as in depth as an AC game should be. Too short and the story was not compelling enough. But, I guess that is only what Ubisoft is capable of with their current staffing.
