It was always the wrong decision but when he was sitting on the stairs he could have called his friends. Taking on a built bouncer with ZERO backup in a foreign country is just dumb. And based on RL, Konfig has picked on people smaller than him. My man could have been stabbed easily, imagine this was a rando from the club whose girl he danced with or step on their shoe.

I will be honest when I first read the twitllonger i felt bad for k0nfig, not because I didn't think he was fucking up, but just because of how badly it went, but you are right in retrospect I think he is lucky it went this well. I didn't think about it at first but the contrast of public opinion to Hell In a Cell 2015 makes this even more ridicoulus.
When I was a kid and teen I was so scared of getting into fights after I heard a story about a kid that threw one punch at another and his head hit a rock and he died. Idk if it’s even real but it stuck with me because that can just happen even if they just hit the ground. Glad to hear reassurance on this since I avoided fights generally, too afraid of one of us dying due to accidents.
cant confirm if that specific story you heard about is real but thats definitively possible. plenty of news reporting instances of people dying after falling on the pavement and hitting their head after being punched only once.
Yep, for sure happens. Had a friend who went to break-up a fight and got hit once, fell on the curb and is permanently disabled. Has trouble using his hands and with balance.
I was always terrified of this as well. Like millions of guys get into scrapes growing up or in their lives but I always though it would be just my luck...I'd throw one punch, not even a good one mind you, but he'd stumble (probably laughing at my bad punch) and all it takes is one bonk on the head in the right place and your going to prison. Or your the one who stumbles and bonks their head. Just seems like such a stupid reason to be in prison looking at the life you threw away, over a moment of anger. Doesnt seem worth it to get into fights unless it's a damn good reason. Like protecting someone or something.

One of my best mates was a doorman at a club until a guy just like k0nfig, bigshot business man who thinks they're the main character of planet fucking Earth, showed up one night. Get thrown out of the club by my mate, waits behind a wall for my mate to come out for a smoke, and jumps him. Knocked him out and he fell and he fell and hit his head. Paralyzed and severely brain damaged. He doesn't remember who he is or where he is even he's so far gone. He was the nicest bloke you'll ever meet and now he's all but gone because some drunk asshole just like k0nfig decided that he wasn't going to take the slight of being thrown out.
I've no sympathy for a person like k0nfig. He deserved what happened to him. I hope he's learned his lesson but given the brain addled esports community backing him up on this and telling him he didn't do anything wrong, I doubt he has and I wouldn't be surprised if we end up reading about him being killed in another fight in a few years.

After the first or second time drinking in the toon when i was 17 I learned the first rule of nights out. Do NOT argue with the fucking door staff. Either ego or childlike naivety has ruined k0nfig.
The best possible option after the initial refusal is to call up your mates inside and get the guy who put money down for the table to try and have a word, probably won't work but it beats getting your arse handed to you.

I think I can consider myself an expert for being from a small Finnish town so I don't see a lot of crime or violence in public here but drunks and bar fights I've definitely seen :D
In all my life even when in a middle of dozens of people fighting have I been a part of it myself. When people are wasted the fights are 100% of the time avoidable unless you are robbed etc.
Having even a bit of common sense you can either leave or sort things without fighting. Might be easy for me to say but people who can't control themselves drunk should maybe consider having a bit less. Especially after being mad for a lost csgo match😂

Can't say I don't feel bad for the guy but he obviously needs to learn some lessons as well. I've had issues with promoters and bouncers before when I wasn't doing anything or even drunk and it definitely can be tilting af but obviously fighting the bouncer isn't really the wisest move. Hopefully he figures out his shit and comes back stronger
theres 0% chance he was going to outfight the bouncers (in plural). if by some chance he overpowered the promoter - which didnt happen - the other bouncers would gang up on him and beat his ass just the same.

Life advice for kids. Plenty of bouncers may be wankers and just out for a rumble. You may feel you're getting denied or thrown out unjustly. But it's happened. Nothing is getting you in the club. Arguing will at best get you banned for longer, or end up filled in. And no police will give you a minute cos you've been drinking. Or even worse, you'll end up dead as some kid in my town did after bouncer threw down and lad ended up with a bleed on the brain. Fucking leave it. It won't end any better.
So, they have some bad matches and to make it better he goes out to drink? The reason why the legends of Astralis where so effective was not only their practice and crazy ultil meta but also their discipline.
