What are at the other ends of the little orange and pink wires connected to? Thank you. Everything else is making complete sense and I'll be doing this next week.
I'm going through my truck electricals and ignition lights comes on when the key is fully in the start position. I assume it's a bad ignition switch, I'm not sure, based off your knowledge, what could be the cause? I figure the ignition lights should be activated before the start position. My first time doing this so I'm not sure.
Ive got a 5 post (2 on the end and 3 on the body of the relay) soleniod relay on mine. Can i wire the pink, blue and manual switch wires to the same signal post?
I'm not really against this push button crap but I always choose to put the glow plug system back to its original condition. They worked for 40 yrs without failure (mostly). Not too bad compared to that chinesium relay that might last all summer if your lucky.
Thank you for posting this, been fighting this issue for a couple months
Thank you for these videos!!!

Hi I've got a m1008 with the manual glow plug push button. How long should I hold the button before cranking I'm in Florida
I have one as well, it depends on the temperature outside, but from 3-10 seconds.
Is that solenoid a constant duty solenoid like on a golf cart that is designed for a high amperage load?

Ground the blue wire simple as that
"This one right here" your hand is in the way, use a pointer like a screwdriver or stick or laser.
