I seriously switched to UA-cam music for a lot of Miley’s live performances. I sound like an ad lol, but I kept waiting for Spotify to put her bbc live lounge and backyard sessions song there. But they didn’t!
The lyrics to Golden G String tell us so much about her journey as an artist and as a young woman in the path of self-discovery. Thanks Miley for sharing such a strong and personal story with us! Ps. Her vocals are on point.
Miley’s voice is absolutely ethereal and underrated. It’s so distinct, as soon you hear it you know it’s her. So powerful, unique and diverse. Not to mention she’s a badass. She’s been criticized so so much by everyone, it’s a miracle she’s still here giving us music.
Mileys vocals on her performances are absolutely flawless, the tones, the vibrancy, her pitch, all of it. Is just flawless & so perfectly executed. :) Miley is an amazing vocalist & performer & I love how she is not afraid to cover songs & sing the music that speaks to her heart. :) She is brilliant beyond measure!
Miley has grown and evolved in so many ways - her voice is incredible. Her songs - the arrangements, delivery, stylistic touches. She has really outshined a lot of others during this uncertain time for live music and changing with the times - total winner personally and professionally!
Her covers are so powerful and unique. She pays proper homage but still manages to make them unique. Miley, please cover Pat Benatar if you're reading this !
I love how she never sings a song the same twice. Even her own. Every single time she's sings a song she correlates it to the emotions she's feeling at the time.
Holy schmoley. When she lets loose on “Fade into you”...whew! Let it out Miley, let it out. If you’ve had that inside you the whole time, wow, what a voice. So impressive. Let it out, more and more....
Honestly Golden G string is such a deep song underneath a catchy tittle. Maybe that represents what she truly feels like. Always looked at her and knew she had something to say, not just some crazy girl. Proud to say I was never wrong. What an artist she is.
I was one of those typical people who never gave her any credit because of her past and what she started as. The last few months I started seeing her perform live and I'm willing to eat crow on my own opinion. I just love her now.
When she did We Can’t Stop a capella with the Roots that’s when I was won over. Check out her vocal and piano Pablow The Blowfish where she’s wearing a onesie. Raw emotion right there at the end. But still the old rock dinosaaur fans will decry her as talentless. So wrong. She’s awesome.

I seriously switched to UA-cam music for a lot of Miley’s live performances. I sound like an ad lol, but I kept waiting for Spotify to put her bbc live lounge and backyard sessions song there. But they didn’t!

I swear to God Miley's performances are the only things getting me through this quarantine.
same.
This makes me feel like I need to start watching even more Miley Cyrus now. 🥰
For real
Samee, love her covers also
Yaaaasss
That Fade Into You cover is criminal. And needs to be on streaming services ASAP.
Amen!
Her voice is so powerful and peaceful at the same time... Amazing!
the vocal.the hair. the outfits. the rings. the nails.she nailed everything
Miley's voice is unique af, that's why i love her so much.
YES! I'm a sucker for unique voices.
The lyrics to Golden G String tell us so much about her journey as an artist and as a young woman in the path of self-discovery. Thanks Miley for sharing such a strong and personal story with us!
Ps. Her vocals are on point.
She's a Monarch child you idiot! THAT is what she is singing about!
Miley’s voice is absolutely ethereal and underrated. It’s so distinct, as soon you hear it you know it’s her. So powerful, unique and diverse. Not to mention she’s a badass. She’s been criticized so so much by everyone, it’s a miracle she’s still here giving us music.
Probably one of the most genuine artists of these times honestly. I really enjoy seeing her evolve.
my seven year old self never knew she would be still crying listening to miley’s music over 10 years later
12 year old me watching Hannah Montana with my little sister never new I would be crying to Miley with my fiance at 24
@@baileyfleck1257 12 year old me that HATED Miley and her cheesy show, never knew that I’d be a fan over a decade later.
This isn’t Miley’s music...but still a pretty great cover.
@@4MixMasterMonkey the first song is a cover.. the other 2 are her songs
@@baileyfleck1257 yup
This is a 90s classic and I'm glad this will probably get people to check out Mazzy Star for the first time. Good one Miley.
What is the 90s classic?
Fade into you
@@maximyles Fade Into You by Mazzy Star.
It did for me. Never heard this song until I saw this on NPR. Looked up Mazzy Star. What a powerful song.
" Into Dust " is another really beautiful song by Mazzy Star. Kind of a sad song though but in a good way..✌
This video is def full of those ‘90s eccentricities that I think most of us who grew up in that era miss so much.
word♡
Oh, she’s just being Miley
Iconic
🥺💖
Are you her best friend or something?
@@PrincessRamsha999 I am why?
@@keren9691 “my best friend lesley said, “oh she’s just being miley’” lyrics from See You Again
This girl is giving everything in the thumbnail so imagine in the full show...
The control. The vocal fry. The artistry. LOVE
Exactly what we need from Miley. Root music , raw talent
It's definetely with autotune. But really good in general.
@@theyoutubegeek7493 not really sweetie
There’s definitely some post production there including some pitch correction but this is an amazing performance nonetheless
Golden G String live is another level. Wow. It sounds even better than the album version. Miley is a true artist
I love that song so much!
WAY better live, loved it here
@Jeepers Creepers17 Don't even try that lol, she has several acapella performances as good as this
She should definitely make a country and rock album
plastic hearts
Listen Younger Now (2017) & Plastic Hearts (2020) respectively! Without mentioning some of others songs that sounds like rock and country...
Give “Younger Now” and “Plastic hearts” a listen. Massively underrated, both albums.
younger now, dead petz, plastic hearts
Since bacyard sessions and this kind of performances i see Miley with another eyes.
golden g string is a work of pure genius. thank you miley.
I love how she took the set quite literally and gave us a tiny concert. But her voice is larger than life
Miley has grown and evolved in so many ways - her voice is incredible.
Every single time she's sings a song she correlates it to the emotions she's feeling at the time.
miley really doesnt get enough credit her voice is EXCEPTIONAL
everything miley's touched in the last 12 months is GOLD
The second song gave me chills.
It’s called the Golden G String. I love it and it’s on repeat. She sings from her heart and about her. Deep
it’s called *Golden G String* from her new album *Plastic Hearts* check it out the Album is 10/10
"Old boys hold all the cards and they ain't playin gin" perfect
Every song in the world dreams to be sang for this woman
Her stage presence is phenomenal, it’s a dream to see her live
She’s like Stevie Nicks combined with Dolly Parton 🥺❤️
This. I immediately thought Stevie, was looking for a Stevie Nicks comment. But Dolly mixed in...yeah. Great call 🙌
Would love to hear a duet between her and Stevie 👍👍
@@duncanknifton6613 there's at least one around somewhere
THIS IS ACTUALLY SPOT ON
I've said Stevie nicks since her song I miss you from the 3d concert
I hope her version of “fade into you” comes to spotify/apple music🥺 it is beautiful
Download SoundCloud you can have it
Holy schmoley. When she lets loose on “Fade into you”...whew! Let it out Miley, let it out. If you’ve had that inside you the whole time, wow, what a voice. So impressive. Let it out, more and more....
I was going in expecting to hate it because Mazzy Star is amazing. This though is a great cover!!!
Absofuckinglutly right!!! LET IT OUT!!! From down DEEP! 🎸🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🌈🌈👍
I’m a year late to this, but her cover of Fade Into You made me cry. The amount of power and emotion I just felt in that was magical.
OMG SAME
Literally I come to this cover like every month or so🥲🥲 it’s so powerful
Hey how tiny do you want the tiny des-
Miley: No. Everything tiny. Tiny bed. Tiny room. And hold the desk.
😆😆
Imagine if she stood up in the tiny room.
ITS AHMAZINGGG
the room itself is a BIG hollow desk. look at it.
Loco -Anitta
She has now the maturity, the band and the material to go for an epic MTV Unplugged record -hopefully, soon.
Yes yes yes
I didn’t know I needed that, but I definitely do!
She already did 2 MTV Unplugged. The last was last year!
I'm hoping for a live album (that is properly mixed) so badly
“Maybe caring for each other is just too 1969” Wonderful! This gave me shivers. New admirer.
I read this comment in the exact moment she sang those lyrics
This is my favorite song from her new album "Plastic Hearts"!
I really think she’s the next Bruce Springsteen. People will be studying her lyrics in college.
her voice is actual insanity. it brings me to tears.
She is the COOLEST and her voice has never sounded better. Been a fan since day 1 but this is her best music yet!

Honestly Golden G string is such a deep song underneath a catchy tittle. Maybe that represents what she truly feels like. Always looked at her and knew she had something to say, not just some crazy girl. Proud to say I was never wrong. What an artist she is.
Wow, she has hit her stride like no one's business. My only criticism: I wish there were more!!! Loved it.
My thoughts Perfectly stated!!!👍🌈🌈🌈
This hits some kind of emotion I don’t have a word for.
One thing we must all agree on is that there is only one Miley Cyrus. Only one.
Yes. The other one is Hannah Montana.
@@BethLove333 Montana long gone bro' , long gone.
@@BethLove333 Montana is over. hello. now we got a grown legend woman called Mrs Miley Cyrus.
What are you talking about this is, Marissa. Miley passed away before wrecking ball.
Thank God
I was one of those typical people who never gave her any credit because of her past and what she started as. The last few months I started seeing her perform live and I'm willing to eat crow on my own opinion. I just love her now.
You should listen to the podcast she did with Joe Rogan. You will really like her after that.
Same! She has blossomed into a full on force of nature. That voice is incredible.
Also I think she was always talented but the public/media ran with the “Disney star turned problematic” narrative
@@prestwickpioneer3474 she was also amazing when she sang Dont Dream It’s Over with Ariana Grande
As a fan i am so happy to read the comment section and see how people has finally wake up and see how talented and real this woman is. I am so happy to say i have been with her since day 1
Exactly. Just smiling seeing a comments section admiring her instead of shitting on her like they did for so many years.
I still see people trashing her talent. The narrow-minded oldies and music snobs have massive egos and will never embrace her even if she saves the world.
Same 💜
me too
You can tell she really resonated with this song, her heart is huge.
this is the era where she really found her sound and her look. she was made for this and i really hope she sticks to it.
She will stick to being herself which is constantly changing. As it should be.
That's ridiculous. She's doing covers.
@@MrEarley which one of these three songs are covers??

This is one of the coolest tiny desks i’ve seen in a long time. she killed it
Pretty sure she didn't build this. So she had several professionals come to her mansion during a pandemic and build her a set, including wiring it for electricity, so she sing for 10min.
@@MrGrey-zc2cy she’s on a soundstage so that’s clearly not her mansion. This is also a tiny box that would have taken a couple of people to build it at most and no one else would have had to be near them as it’s clearly not her houe

One of the most critisised and at the same time one of the best singers of her time. Love to listen to her. (and I'm 63.....)
Of all the Tiny Desk performances, this one is the one that has moved me the most..
I think she should release Fade into you as a single

Omg yes!!!
