i’ve been growing my hair (from buzz cut) for about 6 months now and honestly i never knew my hair could look this way. throughout my whole life i’ve been those basic straight hair combover haircut kinda guys, but then i decided it was time to start something new and fresh. my hair never went past my eyes because idk that’s just the way i’ve always had it, but now after growing it (it’s still not passed my eyes yet) i’ve noticed how wavy my hair is. i always wanted wavy/curly hair like shawn mendes/xolo maridueña/and tom holland. so now with my hair getting longer i’m starting to feel confident that i can. so note to all you straight short hair people! if this is something you’re interested, but have doubt you can achieve it. DO IT! you just have to be patient trust me! just try to find different ways to style your hair during your “awkward stage” and you’ll be good. i’m currently almost done with it.
Literally had no idea that my hair was this wavy and curly I would totally recommend growing it out. Just scared now to get my hair cut a little shorter.

I lost length in the back and sides but kept most of the top length. Try having body dysmorphia and dealing with the awkward phase of curly/wavy. Excruciating.

This gives me insane hope… I always thought my hair was PIN straight until I had grown it out a little more, it seems to get preeeeeetty wavy at the tip around 4-5 inches which is previously the longest I’ve had it. I shaved my head a little over 2 months ago and I plan to grow for at least 2 years lol. I hope my hair acts the way I think it does heheh 😅
