I think a slower, more tactical COD actually could have worked but they didn't do it right. They didn't really think through how they wanted the game to be played and just took standard COD combat and nerfed the movement mechanics instead of adding in reasons to play more tactically. They have all these movement mechanics like hanging on walls, sliding and diving but made them nearly useless in the actual gameplay. They want people to play tactically but jumping is the most effective way to challenge corners. If they really wanted people to play tactically they could have added lean or made recoil harder to control. If they want people to play tactically they should give players tools for doing so instead of just nerfing all the tools they had for playing aggressively.
The problem was how clunky everything was. Ads is slow and Even slower while jumping, sliding doesn't let You shoot and You lose total control of your charecter and so on. This could have been a great cod, but when they realised everyone was leaving Activision just said "welp, lets throw away the tactical-arcade feeling and lets add bundles and put the actual content to a minimun" that's why a Lot of guns are just copy pastes and shoved into a different class and maps were BR maps pieces with some changes

Love your gameplay bro, regardless of what you play. Your voice and fully automatic gunfire is something that soothes me while I drive at work. 😅 thank you for what you do man!
The fast time to kill also makes it more fair for MKB players. In MW3 theres a lot more time for controller players aim assist to "catch" and once it does it's over for the MKB player because they still have to mange their aim and is more likely to miss shots. Maybe you don't think so because your tracking is insane but it's that way for me.

I can't even play zombies without the game crashing just about every game and me losing everything.
The one thing I will say about this game is that it was easier for me to play on mouse and keyboard, because the crazy fast TTK meant if I was more accurate I could usually beat controller players, even with the aim assist advantage. On MW3 it feels like even if I hit 6 shots with an SMG, a controller player with an AR can kill me in a fraction of the time at identical range even if he misses his first two shots. That combined with the SBMM means I legit have more fun playing Xdefiant on controller than playing MW3 on mouse and keyboard.
the #1 thing i miss from MW2 is definitely the TTK. 150HP just makes snipers, knives and shotguns annoying to deal with. one can argue about balance one way or another (if theyre an idiot) but regardless of if its balanced, its just not Fun. the second thing would probably be the ironsights :P

Mw3s ttk feels so weird like its too slow and too fast at the same time. I think its mostly the weird headshot multipliers that some guns like the mcw have where one headshot gives you tons of value but hitting 2-4 doesn't do anything
I haven't been able to play MWIII/MWII for almost a week on account of thrashing too many lobbies and getting shadowbanned, but I'd sooner go through MW 2019 than MWII. But hey, if you're a glutton for punishment and not shadobanned, MWII is an option. :b Thanks for the content anyways, Handler!
I personally think MWII movement feels fluid. I also think it's perfectly fine being a little slower, MW2019 is just blistering fast making everything else feel slower.
Personally I found this game way more enjoyable than MW19. Although I do like the MP better in MWIII. It’s not a huge improvement from MWII’s mp. Despite its issues, I really enjoyed the game throughout its whole life cycle, the campaign was fun, spec ops was an improvement from the MW19, I enjoyed Warzone as I don’t consider myself primarily a warzone player. And the MP was fun. It felt like it catered to alot of different play styles where as MW19 the maps were designed for campers and newer players.
Ngl i myself am a fan of the faster or let's say normal times to kill in cod so mw3 in a way kinda made me appreciate that part of mw2 which I can't say I exactly enjoy as a game
Weird praise but I much prefer MWII's lobby to MWIII's. The Halloween-themed one for Season 6 was gorgeous. That said, the ones from the MW19-VG era were the best.
Just seeing the UI and it already looks so much more barebones / lackluster. I still wish COD would be more focused on gunplay / gunskill again instead of movement. The problem in MWII was it punished general mechanics in terms of speed like ADS, strafe speeds and sprint to fire times. We don't need hyper fast movement with bunny hops and slide canceling. We just need smooth and fast gunplay. The MWII maps weren't bad at all either, sadly IW basically abandoned it lol and didn't give a shit about any of our feedback like Dead Silence or even minor community concerns. They literally did not care lol. I really liked and still like MWIII. Just wish it had a slightly faster TTK and the aesthetics/presentation of MW19.
I might be in the minority, but I actually like the slower gameplay of MWII. It forces you to play smarter, not harder. You have to slow down, listen and communicate to get wins. Even if your the last man standing you can still clutch up games if you just walk around the map. Walking is more effective than sprinting in MWII. If you like braindead zoom zoom pew pew then MWII is not for you. Which is unfortunate because the majority would just rather always play in a small box map. (shipment) For this reason I skipped MWIII, that game is just a slurry catering to the bad habits of the player base. But I guess that makes it "fun".
Mw3 is the largest skill cap cod, even more so than Cold War with all the movement you can do. I’ve always preferred fast paced gameplay in arcade shooters like this, if you want tactical gameplay with people walking and ads all the time, there’s rainbow six siege.
Calling people who actually want to actively participate in engagements bad habits while your ass sitting somewhere listening to footstep is an insane take.
@shinomakichuppy8236 What's insane is all the sloppy, silent, braindead, jumping, sliding nonsense. No thought, just rush. At least MW19 did it better than MWIII. But people cried about MW2019 because although all the movement mechanics were there, the maps were too complicated. But yeah, enjoy the low effort game that has been recycling content and catering to your own bad habits, skills that are useless in literally every other FPS. I've witnessed fortnite kids pickup MWIII for the first time in a gaming convention and absolutely destroying the competition. That's how easy MWIII is on controller.
@@Crix525PR Saying all the mechanical skills with movement useless is dumb lmfao, it’s matter which FPS you were talking about. In a tactical shooter like Squad, Insurgency sure those skill wouldn’t matter much but in something more Arcady and fast pace like Apex, try sitting still and listening to footsteps would got you getting shits on lmfao. Calling MWIII low effort while MWII had most of its post launch maps being re purpose Warzone’s poi throughout its life cycle. Having the integrated suppressed barrel for the MP5 to be an entire new gun and short barrel M13 as dlc guns for Season 5. Lastly you’re not gonna tell me that being actively in combat is bad habits compared to waiting in a corner listening to sound cue to catch someone off guard. Most CDL players belong to the former group and they’re anything but bad.
I don't know why they didn't port all the maps from this game into MW3, at least most, some are trash but I actually enjoyed most of the original maps in MW22

For PC players, the MW2 gunplay is so much better imo
Yes man. Lower TTK is so much bettr
the #1 thing i miss from MW2 is definitely the TTK. 150HP just makes snipers, knives and shotguns annoying to deal with. one can argue about balance one way or another (if theyre an idiot) but regardless of if its balanced, its just not Fun. the second thing would probably be the ironsights :P
1:53 WTF BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
Like fiz4520 said, I was enthralled by your MW2019 gameplay. Seeing some in 2024 would definitely be entertaining even if it’s full of cheaters❤❤❤
I hated this game with a passion but always enjoyed when Handler would play it tho, made it look fun
I wish this game had MW2019s movement. If so this would be far and away the best COD of all time.
hey bro just talking about content and stuff like its more enjoyable when you're just showing what you're doing whether that's going from mw 2 to mw 3 then tomorrow playing xdefiant like its more fun when it's fun for you like a variety is really cool so just do what you want and I know everyone will watch brudduh much love and I hope you're in a surplus of 🐈
4:30 21 savage's voice lines 😂😂😂
This is the better version, no dead silence in perks
Nice he dropped again🗣️🔊
Oh I miss the Triple Kill sound effect of this game.... was like.... TRYARERH
Man was committed to making sure the guy saw him shooting his body😂🤝
Faster TTK is so much better I agree!
Handler 🐐
Ngl the problems with this game is what made it fun for me.
Bo2 Is Better
@@rqsc 1000%
wha how
@@rqscwe all know that
@@Infectedbybloo I’m not sure, I think it’s because at the time I pushed myself to make a lot of COD content, and I just ended up getting use to it.
I’ve been binge watching mw2019 content from the boys - we gotta revisit
I also thought the gun play was more balanced. The maps were great too.
Running an o.p shotgun and saying the enemy team sucks is hilarious
this game had the most hype in cod history 😂😂😂
Ngl i myself am a fan of the faster or let's say normal times to kill in cod so mw3 in a way kinda made me appreciate that part of mw2 which I can't say I exactly enjoy as a game
everything about this game was weird. Except Knockout. That mode was absurdly fun for no reason. They never brought it back.
Nutty nades today
Weird praise but I much prefer MWII's lobby to MWIII's. The Halloween-themed one for Season 6 was gorgeous. That said, the ones from the MW19-VG era were the best.
You know this game was cheeks when I quite literally forgot it existed
Totally forgot this game had chargeing perks💀
I agree the faster ttk on kbm feels way better. I think that's why Multi-player is better on kbm.
I’m glad I never bough this game and watching the videos still mid but your game play always on top
Just wish it had a slightly faster TTK and the aesthetics/presentation of MW19.
the fact i can watch handler play any game is always a blessing fr
Why all youtubers collectively re-visited MW2
Faster time to kill? Hardcore, everything is a oneshot. And ngl, it’s actually fun but also very chaotic in small maps.
Gotta love that having eyes means you have wall cheats. lol
I just stopped playing CoD at MW2(2)
I don't know how it plays but it looks extremely clean
I never understood ppl I love mw2 it’s legit one of the cods I’ve grounded out a lot and put effort into
as a sniper enjoyer I still liked mw2, the worst thing in my opinion tho was the perks system, I didn't like how you had to wait to get every perk
Handler you should make another Third Person video. Idk if MWIII has it or not.❤❤
Crouch walking the game
I might be in the minority, but I actually like the slower gameplay of MWII. It forces you to play smarter, not harder. You have to slow down, listen and communicate to get wins.
Even if your the last man standing you can still clutch up games if you just walk around the map. Walking is more effective than sprinting in MWII.
If you like braindead zoom zoom pew pew then MWII is not for you. Which is unfortunate because the majority would just rather always play in a small box map. (shipment)
For this reason I skipped MWIII, that game is just a slurry catering to the bad habits of the player base. But I guess that makes it "fun".
Thats is what ranked play is for lol
Subjectively a better game than mw3, could you do more videos like these please? It’s way more enjoyable to watch!!
Hit sound is better i think
18:16 I literally reacted the same way lmao
I like the hs sound in mw2 but not a big fan of fast ttk I think 150hp is sweet spot
I do miss the time to kill of this game...
This was actually a good cod
Increase the ttk and keep the snipers the same if not better. People already say sniping is ovverpowered
I don't know why they didn't port all the maps from this game into MW3, at least most, some are trash but I actually enjoyed most of the original maps in MW22
fascinating how people go “you’re getting carried lololol” like brother in christ you’re losing to one guy…
I was actually just playing this and it was so easy litteral bot lobbies
what the hell is on handlers back at 2:35 ? 😂
That’s actually terrifying lmao
That’s some creepy pasta shit
What a mad lad
I for real didn't know you could even still play MW2
Handler what’s the M4 load out pls 🙏
