Regular prizm Wemby is worth much more. However Monopoly has the cooler looking parallels and is more fun to open. Hope you pull some wembanyama!!
I have been told by some that the Monopoly cards more limited than those from the regular set.

i’ve opened about 50 prizm monopoly boxes this year and done amazing. pulled a money blast jimmy butler and a red money shimmer /100 of victor wemybanyama and jayson tatum plus a yellow /49 keynote george. not to mention tons of base wemby which are going for like $10 each

I got a Wemby /249, a Luka /199, a Chet /124, a Tatum /99 and more from the bunch of boxes I bought yesterday. I was happy with it.
I think both products have been a tough rip. Monopoly especially needs some more juice when it comes to pulling stuff. I get making stuff rare but some of those boxes are just dusty. Panini milking it for all it's worth before losing the licenses to Fanatics on the NBA and NFL.

I think this was a tie too. I agree the regular prizm might hold more value long term but you can definitely hit those bangers in the Monopoly where there is great long term value there too. It’s close but yeah, I’ll take regular prizm. Good vid! 💯

@@skybcards no. I get Topps Japan edition. They come out from April to July and cost 23 bucks for a pack of 10 cards but it will be last year s edition so Ohtani in the angels still not dodgers and if I find it though

I'm having similar luck with Wemby in this stuff, I've opened about 85 and have pulled one purple wave. Guys like vucivic, robert williams, and mikal bridges, I have to have at least 6 of those guys each. Bought from different targets so not sure how I feel about it. I'd still hold the monopoly going forward though

Personally, I like opening Monopol because of the various likely pulls even though they are tough to pull but no Autos, For holding value, regular Prizm is the way to go. To me when only Panini provides the product prizm is King... but keep ripping both they are awesome in my book.
Gotta go with Prizm. Monopoly just doesn't carry the interest of the hobby. Putting back a case of Prizm blasters, or hangers seems like the move. Maybe a box or two of Monopoly, but Prizm is the standard....This year for sure
On paper I would've guessed monopoly is the better product just because of the number of parallels, and its a smaller set, but wembanyama is just as hard to hit from there as he is in regular.

So, here's my review. I've opened 8 Prizm Basketball blaster's and 16 Monopoly blaster's. My 8 Prizm blasters were absolute 🔥. 2 Wemby base AND a cracked ice Wemby!! I promise it happened. I was being called a liar! LOL
The best card I got out of Monopoly was a 20/20 Taylor Hendricks, 5 Wemby base, 2 running mans, 1 red dice, Spencer dinwiddie out of 50 and a few other numbered cards. But I'm done with my Wemby chase now. Panini's going to give me a heart attack!
I tried a prizm blaster & it was bleh. Wasn't sure if was going to try monopoly again but yesterday I went f it & bought 1 online. Just have to wait for as in Australia you have to wait for at least for a week or 2 for retail after release
Last week I opened 3 blasters and got numbered Aaron gordon /124 handshake insert jayson tatum and 2 wembanyama base cards in back to back blasters I have 4 base wembys now😂

So you can pull number in older Prizm. Last night I got bored & went to my stash and opened a 2020 Blaster abs pulled a Green Pulsar /25 of Carmello Anthony. They are rare, but do-able! I have 3 sealed 2020 Prizm Basketball Retail Boxes and in those you get 1 Auto & 2 Numbered as well. My last one I opened I pulled a Hornets Rookie to 35..... Nick Richard's 😢lol the tease

I opened 8 monoply. The only good card was a purple wave wemby. I opend 2 prizm boxes got a bunch a decent cards. Best was a silver deep space luka. The purple wemby is 10X the value of the deep space luke at the moment. But in 20 years maybe that will be competely different.

I bought 6 of the Monoploy blasers and the 1st two were so bad i tried selling the other 4 for a week no bites. Last night my wife and I opened the other 4 and I pulled a Red Dice Wemby and she pulled the running man Pascal, numbered Zion, numbers Simons, and a wemby base. Monopoly is basement lows and heaven highs

Nice rip, It's not even close that regular Prizm is better than Monopoly. Unless you pull a numbered Victor, its over produced trash. The back of the card is useless and those cards will continue to lose value over time as the market is flooded with the base cards. Like you said a base Victor in regular prizm goes for 3 to 4 times more.
This years Monopoly is not as exciting but it is making last years monopoly more valuable. Again, another banger! and please no more absolute blasters

@@skybcards I’m in California Bay Area. They’ve pulled all sports cards from the Target and Walmart shelves due to theft. You’d make a killing selling those on eBay to Californians. Even with a $20 mark up you’d sell them like hotcakes. Shoot even a $50 mark up, I bet they would sell.
