For "next level" unit spawn, just use "unit dies" event, "unit type is equal to lvl1" condition and "spawn lvl2 unit" action :P You can also use "number of living units is equal or less than" condition to limit the maximum possible amount of units produced, or else your game will keep spawning them until it crashes.
Nah world editor is tough at first but once you learn somethings, everything else clicks. Melee maps are easy. Had trouble at first trying to make the marketplace display artifacts tp buy
@@Tegawe hell im trying to inject high elves into a custom map as a replacement for the night elves and dear god idk wtf im doing it took me like 2 days just to replace tree of life/ages/eternity to (i changed the names but essentially its): town hall, keep, castle (castle model is changed to arcane observatory or w/e since it looks elfyier and castley as well as some of its other stuff is changed) idk a faster way to change a unit so i was literally copy/pasting values after i made the custom building till i effectively changed the tree of life/ages/eternity to what i wanted (they're all set as Elven Hall, Elven Keep, Elven Sanctum) currently i want to die from doing just this much i've got it to train "worker (Blood Elf)" but that worker wants to build its own shit and i haven't figured out how to change what it builds yet
Thanks for posting this. I did it different, but still works. I did New trigger/ and inside it New event/New action/time-periodic event (888). Then New condition/New action create 1 (draenei demolisher at zone...ect...) Then copy and paste the event and you have a hole custom army. I would have never figured that out with out this video.
You just control the peon and right click the hero to MAKE him attack, unlike normal units, they are meant to fight, unlike the build, Peons, Wisps Etc. Hope this helps!

@4GGS Instead of a region that removes units, you can use this condition in the spawn trigger (Number of living units owned by Player (x)) Less than x (intriger comparison)
when my soldiers are dying from the units that were spawned, the units just stop on the same place where they killed my soldiers, doing nothing instead of attacking the base. help please.
CAN you show me how to make heroes building unique? Like the game has 3 human players.. They cannot build the same hero... Let's say there are only 3 kinds of heroes... and if one player built hero 1 then the other 2 human players cannot build hero 1 but they have to build hero 2 or 3

@4GGS go to the setting for your boss (a peon) while in the unit stats on world edit, ctrl+f "worker" go to that category and a window should come up with check boxes in it. unclick the thing that says worker. if you have any question pm me.
Im having pretty much difficulties with understanding all this, really confusing, but the only thing i wish to understand is how to add animation to a neutral hostile unit - for ghosts , skeletons, in my case - adding birth animation to a skeleton archer or warrior whatever....im getting a headache only by looking at all the options and all

well thanks but i got 2 problem 1st problem: how can i make this spawning units attack a destructible gate (which is not invulnerable, yes its a structure)(and also i got 3 destructible gates, 1 for the commercial part of the city, 1 for the residencial part and 1 for the castle) these gates are of course opened and close 2 partner lever(2 lever) the 1st lever is to open the gate the other is to close the gate 2nd problem: how can i make this lever useless when the gate is destroyed?

i need help: i want to make a unit. that is made up of a glavie and 3 steam engines to make them look like a train. but with each individual attacks and health making it like a boss with 3 diffrent parts to destory before the unit dies. i only manage to make the 3 engines follow the gliave but i cant control the facing and make them stay that way. any one help?

the old world editor wont work first, u need a better world editor find and download Jass NewGen Pack v5d use it and just delete melee trigger on trigger editor and change with the new one as u like

A. Make a custom unit with the Peon model.
B. Change the unit type from worker to something else or nothing.

@4GGS Make a condition for the Removing Unit trigger make it say Entering Unit is A Unit = True. So only Units (Not Heroes) get removed.
