It was sad, if she hadn't been eliminated, she probably would've won. But people were already upset since she's a professional dancer and she was on the show.
This is honestly one of the sexiest dances I've ever seen. Love both Heather and Maks, and together....chefs kisses. We all know that they were robbed, but what's worse is that we didn't get to see them dance together for most of the season. If Maks were there the entire time I think they would have gone further.
@@Thelastusernameavailable The show wanted her. Some of the viewers didn't. A star like Heather is the type that viewers should hope compete on DWTS & at least make it to the finals.
@@Rockin_Reese I find it strange that a large portion of viewers prefer to watch absolute beginners stumble across the dancefloor just because they find them likable and want to root for the underdog rather than a natural dancer that can actually put on a good show and is fun to watch. It might not be completely fair next to people that just don't have the talent but it's also not fair to vote for bad dancers to stay. That happened so many times, in some cases the person quit themselves and asked viewers to stop voting for them.
I think that people who do ballroom dancing can tell she is not a pro because of her lack of Cuban Motion, the spin was good but he was clearly helping her with balance/control, and her arm could have extended more.
If am going to be completely Honest, as amazing as this dance was all I see are to pro dancers, not a Celebrity with no dance history doing this for the fist time.
She's not a professional ballroom dancer though and there's a big difference. They have completely different techniques/steps that everyone has to learn from scratch that wouldn't be used in backup dancing. The PCD members that did the show in US or UK were basically dancers too but that wasn't such a huge issue and they all got pretty far.
And it also wasn't perfect. It's quite fast and there are times they need more pause in the traditional dramatic breaks between the 4-1 count, she could have done with more hip isolation movement rather than constant spinning And the spin at the end results in a lift. There are no lifts in rumba. So it is a gorgeous routine with so much potential but should have been 8s and perhaps 9s not 10s
It’s like saying a person who is a runner will be amazing at throwing the javelin because it’s all athletics. Ballroom and Latin are completely different from what she does like for Beyoncé and stuff. I can say from experience, these are very different styles. The way you dance these and carry yourself are very much different, especially while working with a partner where in her field she doesn’t have to.
I remember that all of the judges raved about this dance. Len said he liked the speed "whipping it" and then slowing down. To me it was too jerky and I sensed very little connection between Maks and Heather. And the ending? It seemed unnecessarily cruel. Give me Kristy Yamaguchu and Mark Ballas' rumba any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Soft, romantic, definite chemistry, poetry in motion.
Yes, she was robbed. Between the audience's increased booing & Tom reacting to them, that should have been a crystal-clear message about how badly America screwed up. If that wasn't clear enough, season 24's finals being flat & anti-climactic was an even clearer message.
Alfonso Ribeiro is also a professional dancer and he won DWTS. As long as you never danced ballroom they don't frown on contestants having some sort of training.
What makes her elimination worst is that she left the show on the same night she did this amazing dance and even got a perfect score. Such a shame
Utter utter madness! She is phenomenal!

She did not have enough votes to stay.
Honestly still one of the best Rumba performances
It is beyond absurd that Heather & Maks went home after this great dance!
Agreed she was phenomenal its a shame that she didn't win this season

I think this dance is breathtaking! They are so great together!
That was incredible! 🔥 She is really something.
Gorgeous dancing from both and I love her
HEATHER 👏 WAS 👏 ROBBED 👏
aggreed. and if they didnt want a pro to win, they shldnt have asked her on...i have boycotted the show ever since..

Thank you I was looking for this!!
Of course :)
It’s a very good performance given not much training (only one week I think). Her posture is excellent!

so fucking amazing
Чмерковский и его партнёрша показали класс, очень понравились; Чмерковский конечно профи с большой буквы.
Get her BACK ON THE SHOW
Wooow
Heather is a professional dancer… not fair
Why did she get voted off
If am going to be completely Honest, as amazing as this dance was all I see are to pro dancers, not a Celebrity with no dance history doing this for the fist time.
Yeah, I mean, I know her elimination was shocking, but it wasn't fair from the begining, because she is a dancer..

Geezus
super dancing . just the music didn't match
I think if they played Seniorita by Camilla Cabello, it would be a better match

Heather wasnt robbed. She is a professional dancer. I dont think she should have been a contestant in the first place.

they should have thought about that beforehand. as the contestant she was, she should have won. she would have, i'm sure of it
There have been many dancers participating, and even winning, throughout the series, she's not a professional ballroom dancer.
She was the best. She was clearly a pro already. That’s why they “let” her go. Truly rigged. Stopped watching after that. Show sucks now.
Can anyone tell me what song is this?
I want to know too
Says it’s called waterfalls
