I'd usually frown at gutting so to speak the chassis of vintage radios then go this route. I'm also interested in old vintage clocks and it is annoying seeing it happening adding cheap quartz mechanisms off amazon to them. Don't get me started on people selling on Facebook marketplace old antique furniture saying upcycle, upcycle, grrr lol. You did an amazing transformation and as said its being used again as intended. Thanks for sharing.
