- While chatting with ET's Rachel Smith, Mama June Shannon and her daughters -- Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Efird, Jessica 'Chubbs' Shannon and Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson -- reflect on the loss of their daughter/sister, Anna Cardwell, who died in December after a battle with cancer. The family shares how they still feel Anna's presence in their life, from her cat to her 11-year-old, look-alike daughter, Kaitlyn. 'Mama June: Family Crisis' returns to WE tv on June 14.

It's sad for June to have lost her daughter. My friend just recently lost her 15 year old son to complications from leukemia and he was 12 days away from his 16th birthday.

The way Pumpkin shut Alanna down just to say Alanna wasnt even there at the end, or at least not for very long, like why would you call her out like that?? I mean Alanna is the only one actually going to college, while you guys went on this trip that probably wasnt the smartest idea since ya probably shortened Annas life about a month if not more, and youre gonna throw aggressiveness at Alanna? Poor girl looked like she was gonna cry, for the whole family i am truly sorry for Annas passing. She seemed like such a sweet, sincere, genuine and humble soul. My prayers are with you during this difficult transition as you try to navigate a new way of life, always keeping her memory alive is how her children will know her and how she will not be forgotten ❤️

My ant is now 80 lbs (with cancer) and when she was healthy at 200+ lbs and still trying to make people think she's ok. These cancer patients are on some other level
I remember my dad kept asking my mother to make a full breakfast. So she did bacon eggs hashbrowns toast. OJ! He never touched it. The hospice nurse said this is a common request from patients before they die. Usually a hardy breakfast or a steak. 😓

I find it amazing that this family w/all their problems seem to stick w/each other. When you have to share the dysfunctional mother w/the world, she is right. To chg the dynamics of the show and create as normal environment for little ones, her decision to quit is a good one. Her youngest has already learned how to play to a camera w/smart* remarks. Not good. I fully agree w/Pumpkin. Normal drama is one thing but a reality show emphasizes only BAD.

Not being disrespectful, but Kaitlyn needs to be with someone who is stable someone that can put her in school. Mama does not need to have her so I’m praying that when they go to court that Michael is giving custody of Kaitlyn because June can’t even take care of her herself.
