Plenty of power on 3s. By watching how it handles and boogies, it reminds me of my upgraded Slash a lot.
Weird that you would post a review of this truck today. I was just looking at this yesterday. I was torn between this and the trx6. 2 totally different trucks, i know. I chose the trx6 because of the pure comedy of a 6 wheel drive crawler. Also, i STILL have my highly upgraded CEN Reeper because of your kaos build years ago. Its one of my favorites!
That's so awesome and glad to see you're still rocking the Deeper. 😎 Thanks so much for your support. 😊👍
Super Baja Rey or Baja rey next
Reeper gang in the house 🫱🏼🫲🏽💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🍻 Vas sold me on mine years back too lol
@cwatson42785 I don't drive it as much as I used to. Every now and then, I bust it out, and it still puts a smile on my face.
Kyosho's heritage really shines in the handling... Awesome truck. Pretty darn tough too. Got some hustle on 3s geeez!!
Always wanted something that looks like a crawler I could send lol.. Another one added to the list!!
Cheers for the vid Vas!! Epic driving as per usual!!
Thanks Steve. 😎
Very cool truck
Cheers Paul. 😎👍
Seems like a great truck despite its minor flaws that hopefully easy to fix 🙂 great video 👍
Now that you mentioned a new body I think the wheelbase on this truck is a little longer than a standard shortcourse truck
Oh, now you got me worried, I didn't know that. I'll check it when it arrives, hopefully it fits ok.
@@AussieRCPlaygroundAny update on the body fitment Vas?
The chassis needs a wall debris guard.🙄Kyosho needs to take notes to the problem.🤔
I protest!
The body is awesome. I don’t think I could damage it. The green one especially. I guess that justifies the $500 price tag ?
Would like it be crawler with hi/low speed with some accessories to look like scale
Very Powerful 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 I Really Like It 💖💖💖
way overpriced , should be a 250 dollar car
What other SCTs are there with licenced scale bodies, an aluminium chassis and Hobbywing electrics capable of over 70kph? If there are others at a cheaper price, then that argument makes sense, if there aren't, then why do you think it needs to be so cheap?
You can’t even buy a brushed 4wd slash for $250 bud
What the hell are you talking about? Brushless, aluminium chassis, superdetailed scale body, good performance! And you're asking it to be 250bucks? You're completely wrong in this hobby!
@@AussieRCPlayground, for the same price i can go buy kraton that's twice the size you can pretty much drive it into a brick wall this car its not built to the same quality ,im just winging at the au dollar ispose its USD 379.99 vs 799 au ,
Ya kraton is double the price here , I have a exb I haven’t run yet because one of my favorite and I been through a couple they can be parts recycles or money pits but this guy here rips and looks good on the shelf can’t go wrong
Where is this? if you don’t mind me asking.
i am considering this . do you know if it is durable ?
It handles great. I don’t think they designed it to be a bashed. Driving it around the driveway would be pretty fun though 👍
True
You are one of the few i trust!!! I bouyght a Blackzon Smyter becasue of your review and its a great little car but offcourse after a while i think its slow. My new interest is Mojave 4s is anything better then that in the same category?
Can't beat a Mojave. Although I haven't tested the 4S version, from what I hear, it's well worth it.
Thank you very much for the kind words, really appreciate the comment and feedback. 😊👍
Very enjoyeble and interesting video of the Tacoma,i have actually ordered one myself. I will probably not bash it as you do😉thank you for sharing and have a great weekend! Greetings from Sweden
And its not overpriced....its a awesome truck, scale, fast, and durable keyosho prices anything high its well worth it they have the most reasonable prices on all their vehicles its a new chassis price will come down eventually but its worth more than 250.00 what century are you from????
Awesome 👍
Hey Vas…been watching your videos for ages and always enjoy the enthusiasm 👍🏽 I know money is always a factor but some kind of video stabilisation would really help you out. Don’t mean to bash at all and I’ve never noticed till this video. Keep them coming buddy!!!
Salut,
Je trouve les amortisseurs trop raide.
C'est dommage cet effet sautillant.
C'est bien que kyosho veuille entrer dans l'univers du bashing mais cela ce fait au détriment du réalisme du comportement.
yo what shoe glue do you use? the stuff they sell here in au is solvent based which eats paint, and i don't know that i want a big tub of solvent free contact adhesive
Here you go.

Shoegoo is quite expensive, but after trying out many different products shoegoo turned out to be the perfect solution. Im only using that, but only applying it on critical parts of the body combined with dry wall tape to make the most out of one tub.
@@AsurasWrath164 I think its mostly expensive because its not sold here, and its prohibitively expensive to import from US or UK
What did you experiment with? I know a 60ml bottle of weldbond covers a shell, but its far from ideal since it continues to react with water
edit - scratch that - it just takes a month to properly cure. this prompted me to give that shell an agressive hose down, and only the touched up areas reacted this time - goes white again and then clear after drying
@@AussieRCPlayground thanks yeah that's a great price
@shadyhazza I tried e6000, Gorilla glue, Pattex kraftkleber and many other specifically in Germany distributed glues. But only shoegoo was somewhat easily applyable and still maintained its elasticity after curing out, while others were horrendous to apply or got hard as stone after curing, thus not giving the polycarbonate the ability to deform under impacts. A lot of ppl and I discussed this topic in a German rc forum and we all came to the same conclusion that shoegoo is the go-to-stuff.
Edit: its really not necessary to apply the glue to the complete inner side of the body. Only critical parts combined with drywall tape is sufficient to make the body extraordinary durable but still be somewhat lightweight. Don't do the mistake that a lot of ppl make and cover the complete inside. That's a waste of precious shoegoo and makes the body ultraheavy.
Good mod! This car jumps fantastic for something that... is not suitable for jumping at all. ;) But it stayed in one piece.
A newly paved parking lot with a thin layer of sand would be just perfect for a platform like this.
Yeah, exactly. What I did here is far beyond what it's intended for, but it took it well and came out the other side in one piece. A few tweaks by Kyosho and this truck will be a force to be reckoned with. 😎
Nice , bogies along on 3S . Can take a hit and survive, with your body mod . It seems needs a bit more work by manufacturer needed to iron out a few issues , the steering getting jammed up would annoy me too . Drives great 👍 looks good . Great video Vas .
Thanks Alan. 😎
Awesome video and truck Vas! Any idea if the center diff fit in the Max Wagon??
Not sure, I'll have to have a look.
I think body needed a bit more detail....i don't know.
I smell sarcasm... 😏
SC trucks are not meant to do that! :) that's crazy driving
That's why I'm here. 😁
Excellent, I've been waiting for a good review on this one.!
Thanks Alan. 😎
I think Kyosho did not designed that truck with hard bashers in mind, plenty of issues with the body and the steering it seems. Unlike the Mad Wagon being the same chassis, curious. The jump was worth a ton of likes, yes sir!
Thank you. Yeah, I agree this is not exactly what the truck was meant for, but at least now people who watch the video will see what it can and can't do, and how it performs. If big jumps is what you want, then maybe this isn't the best option, but if you want a scale looking truck to do big jumps, well, now you know. 😁
They didn't. Neither Kyosho or Losi design durable vehicles.
Which is funny (sad) because that means all the licensed vehicles are destined to be shelf queens, so I don't know why they come with electronics at all, or why people buy them.
Awesome video! Such a nice driving car!
Thank you, man. Really appreciate you stopping by and your replies to other comments. 🤜🤛

this RC is pretty disappointing to be honest...for the same price you can get a Kraton 4s V2, which is allot better imho.
Well we know they was going for scale no post showing.......But in its defense......Damn what a great running scale truck......awesome video....I'm waiting on mine now I can deal with the body I like coming up with solutions thanks for the awesome video!!!!!
Awesome, I think you'll like this truck, it handles very well. 👍
You sold me!! I am definitely getting me one of these RC’s!
