California piers are great places to find a wide range of interesting subjects from fisherman to tourists to vintage binoculars, under constantly changing lighting conditions. For this video, it was f/8. It would really depend on what I'm doing, but I would also go as low as possible. I like the pop. I'd love to get to a place where I can come focus down to wide open haha.

I’m def a from the hip shooter when I’m photographing people hit or miss just minding my settings and be intentional as I can
I'm trying to get better at it, but unless it's a 28mm @ infinity, I suck haha.

In my opinion zone focus is ok on film but on digital you better shorten your zone atleast one stop.

@@mistermadsen For example at f8 on digital i think acceptable sharpness is between 5,6-5,6
