This series did a wonderful job with representation. I’m 🇯🇲 and loved the Captain’s lines, design and personality. Morana, the shop keeper and Issac are all fantastic and the effort made to fill out their characters makes this an all-timer
I don't know that the shopkeeper survived, but the night creatures are in many ways an extension of Isaac's will and on some level follow his wishes. I'd think that if the shopkeeper made an impression he'd probably have been spared the slaughter.
exactly, even tho i haven't seen anything past this ep, i'd guess that every vamp is capable of _'turning'_ humans but they dnt becuz vamps seem to view their own species as far above the "livestock" of humanity, an immortal club that only a select few of their kind deserve to join
He doesn't need to tell them not to attack the shopkeeper, they know not to. I don't think this is a spoiler but the night creatures are at the command of the forgemaster and do his exact bidding.
Finished this season yesterday. It's absolutly brilliant. Again.. This show is quickly moving towards the upper echelon of the best animation of all time. The slow pacing and character work is especially top notch.
@@deathking1019 I wouldn't say it is. I just see it as a show for grown ups and not kids. It's no different than GoT or other rated R shows in that regard.
The end of Alucard's story is a little disappointing. Not necessarily bad, just feels a bit like wasted development. And the Judge's too, other than that, it was really damn good, especially the conversations. I never expected an animated series about fighting monsters to have such compelling conversations.
@@deathking1019 Oh no, I get why they happened, it's just the season overall has quite a sad ending for everyone except Isaac, who is arguably the big bad at this point. I'd have liked if the twist with Alucard hadn't happened, cause I thought the general idea up to that point was kind of cute and he deserved a bit of happiness. Plus, now I'm just curious what the heck he's gonna be doing next season, I originally thought it'd be a long process of him teaching them. I guess maybe he'll get caught up in the sisters' plot when they return to the area to take over. As for the Judge I just would've liked to have seen one genuinely good (if stern) person that wasn't a protagonist. :p Just my feelings getting in the way of the story, I suppose...

@5:20 *"the Future"* - in the wake of the devastation caused by Dracula's war, it looks like Carmilla boldly plans to conquer Hungary, Moldavia & South Poland, walling off everyone inside thereby turning the entire landmass into a giant human livestock farm for their vamp empire
4:12 Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.
@2:56 *"just let him go"* - seems like Isaac got the same problem Carmilla did during her _800 mile march_ back to 'Styria' last episode, he don't wanna be constantly bothered with enemies everywhere he travels so he forged the night creature army to act as his private _bouncers/bodymen_
*"one day there will be no human beings left in Hell"* - i haven't watched anything past ep 2 so i'm curious if Isaac quoting Muhammad imply he sees earth itself as 'hell' and his mission to wipe humanity off the face of it as God's Work
He's saying that he's going to install so many bodies with people from hell that it will become empty and everyone in hell is just there for him to use to exact his revenge.
I really appreciate Issac being Muslim (?) especially in a heavily Christianity based setting. I'm not Muslim and had never heard of that Muhammad quote, but it's really interesting seeing these classic gothic themes from a different religious standpoint.
I am a Muslim, and I have never heard this hadith of the Messenger. This hadith contradicts the Qur’an, which says about some bad people that they will enter Hell as eternity in it and eternity means, there is no exit from Hell.
Honestly hated the Alucard subplot. The other three were OK, though one of the subplots was infuriating due to how the character seemed to NOT GROW AS A CHARACTER AT ALL OH GOD WHY SO ANGRY. But Alucard's plot really felt like it could've been 100% removed and nothing would've been lost.
Marche But if that were true, wouldn’t they state their full name as Hakuba? For me it wasn’t that, but as a lead in to help Alucard find the Hakuba clan.
@@acgearsandarms1343 Well maybe the family name hadn't been established yet. Afterall like they said were raised under the vampire Cho all their lives, it's possible they don't even know their original name or didn't even have one to begin with
Carmilla killed the vampire that turned her so I assume that, at the very least, vampires of a certain level of power can turn humans, but I see no reason why any vampire couldn't. They likely just see no reason to turn anyone.
I think it's hilarious that Carmilla thinks that humans would continue to have children when they know that their children will just be murdered. I feel like most humans would refuse to have a child in those circumstances. I know I wouldn't want to have a child and have to worry every day that a vampire would come get them because certain vampires like baby blood.
Late, but Carmilla provoked Dracula in his court by questioning why he never turned his wife. But I haven't seen much else in regards to turning vampires 🤔
Something tells me that Isaac will be the one to resurrect Dracula in the future. Also I hope that Hector is going to redeem himself and hopefully stops being tricked by others.
Joel Dean in the games Isaac uses his body to resurrect Dracula or something like that, Isaac also kills hectors girl in the games and Hector vows to take revenge and after he kills Isaac he kills the revived Dracula
