If people take them in there house all you have to do is ring the shit out of the alarm bell on the scooter from your phone. It's super loud and annoying to the offending scooter snatcher. 9 out of 10 times the scooter is magically escorted out the front door by a pissed off 20 something yr old and that makes me happy.

Charging here in San Diego, driving a LOT less miles like you mention. Averaging $25-$30/day for 4 scooters investing about 1.5 hours per day.
3:50 - A recent software update automatically turns off the headlights after three minutes. For the short period before however I sometimes turn the handlebars downwards to shine at the floor but mostly let them turn off on their own.
Oh, that's nice to hear. I remember the first night I did this, the headlights stayed on all night!

Be aware this vid is old, and 99% of the information is outdated. Before you invest any money in this job, now a charge gives 4 dollars, even though a scooter got like 40% heavier and 20% bigger.
Find a park with electrical outlets. Sets up camp.
and the best of all, you don't have to pay for that electricity, easy money baby!

I have a buddy of mine that does this and you can do this for a living if you hustle. Also, if you keep your scooters charged as much as possible, and you drop it off at a lime hub, you can keep your harvest cap. You can boost your harvest cap and charge more scooters at once!

I live in the city of Brussels and I have several questions to ask about this please;
1) MUST you own a car to become a Juicer? Or Can you first ride it home before going on the app and asking to charge that particular scooter?
2) Can you decide to drop off a scooter immediately after it is charged, say around 4:00AM in the morning or must it be around a particular time?
3) Are the drop off zones first come, first serve or are the scooters assigned to different zones around the city?
Question; what is the voltage total for each scooter needed for charging?

I live right by OsU Campus and there’s a TON of these around now. Both brands. You can’t drive down any street without seeing at least one parked or someone riding. I might check into this

They are $4 for charging now in Denver and $3 to pick up and drop off a damaged scooter. Not worth it anymore.
$2.50 where I'm at to charge them... SMH... Just paid $45 after fees for 2 chargers. They're not free anymore either. Definitely not worth it

I heard you say zoom in to make sure its a side walk or something. Also I have had problems with the servers going off line at 910-915ish and i can not even bring back up charger mode for the bird. I havent found not one bird. I wonder if you can't ride them after 9pm then why any that is not in what is considered a nest not able to pick up?

I Was under the impression that with bird in lime scooters available for pick up don’t show up unless they’re down to about a 30% charge so what I’m understanding is with lime all the scooters will show up for a long time chaser no matter what the charge on the scooter is is that correct?
R.C. Jennings for lime at 9:00 pm all scooters under 95 or maybe 90 definitely 85 percent are able to be pick up and charged , before 9:00 pm only certain ones can be picked up , you would be able to see which on the app once you’ve been made an official juicer. Non juicers can’t
You could also charge some of the scooters with your prius battery. If the prius battery starts getting low, the car would automatically start to charge your battery.
I’ve noticed some cities has LimeBikes instead of scooters, so can those be juiced too?

Can you please tell me what you think about this... I'm planning to leave the scooters charging inside my van, of course there's the risk of fire I suppose which still might not be as high of a risk but still risk is risk anyway. Which is why I'm considering my Van isn't that highly valuable and if anything ever happens to it I'll just take ownership of my losses... anyway what's your opinion please?

A question: what if a regular rider arrives home with it, then keep it charged at home, and roll out with it next morning? The recharging earning can be higher than the using fee, right? Let's say there is a guy whose house is like 15 minutes walk away from the subway station, he can repeat this routine every single day, right? Then for the company it can be harming for their business because as he keeps it in his house company loses chances to let it be rented meanwhile.

Competition here is really high. Tried to jump on 15 scooters. 4 disappeared half way to destination. 8 couldnt locate with 4 other juicers on the scene looking to grab up or getting grabbed up as I arrived. 2 where probably in somebodies apartment. and 1 was in a box in the post office about to ship out of country. Waste of gas for me. only nabbed 2 scooters for $12 and 2 hrs work with both guys coming up asking if I was riding or juicing so they could take them away if I said I was riding.
gantz4u very relatable haha. What city are you in? Here in LA, they "temporarily" stopped juicing in the hollywood area. Sucks for me. You should definately zoom in on the app to make sure the scooters arent inside of a building before you drive to the location

Yep that brings memories man trying to look for those damn scooters why everybody else is trying to look for scooters then once you arrive that you think that the scooters there is not there anymore somebody already got it it's not worth it just driving around looking for them scooters for 5 or $4 now it's not worth it that's in La okay in the beginning it was okay it's $8 that's when I start doing it or sometimes even $10 it's almost like Lyft and Uber when it started it was good not anymore how can anybody survive doing that.
Their fares are really extremely cheap that's not a good for drivers maybe for consumers it is but not for drivers

I do it now in a small college town, where scooters only are about $4 per scooter, but because the campus is so small i dont waste a ton of gas and I actually start pinpointing the scooters before 9 so I usually make 20-28 dollars a night and I live in student housing, and don't pay for electricity. So its ideal side money if your like me.
Motorcyclists HATE these things. You can always find a few at the bottom of the hill at The Snake in Agoura Hills. People just pick them up on the street and Chuck them down the hill lol

I'm 48 and my body is getting to old for construction. So I'm shopping around for easier jobs. But? I don't like to drive. Wondering if you can pick these up on an electronic bike and take it back to your house.
where did you get the chargers from?
Do they use a proprietary plug for charging? I would think you could just buy generic chargers (basically just ac adapters like your laptop uses) that meet the voltage/amperage specifications then wire in the proper plug (assuming they aren't some type of special plug the company uses) and charge as many scooters as you like all at once. Unless they limit how many scooters you can poses based on how many official chargers you have?

Great video! I'm seeing negative comments about the cost of electricity being used to charge a bike & I find it ridiculous that some people want to discourage others so badly. You made $292 for 10 hours of work... Even if it cost you an additional $100 because of the electric bill then you're still winning. This is great for a side hustle.

$29.20 / hr minus fuel minus wear & tear on vehicle minus taxes probably brings that down to $10-$15/hr. That is some cute money there what you plan to buy with it? LOL

Yea, if you read the TOS and contractor agreement it states to NEVER enter/on private property to retrieve a scooter.

You can hack your charger so that it has two outputs. Of course the amount of current going to each output will be cut in half when charging two scooters at a time, but that just means that it will take 8 hours instead of 4 hours. Using this method, you don't have to wake up in middle of night to switch chargers.

I was going to ask how can you find out how much juice is left in the scooter, then I noticed you zoomed in on the app and it told you. Sweet. I just got my 4 charges today. Once I`m fully activated in the app i`ll try it out for the first two weeks 7 days a week. Seems like a good side gig to I can work less doing Uber eats and the other food apps yet still make more $$$ at the end of the week. I also play on buying 4 more charges if this works out fine.
