LLMs have been creating a lot of headlines, for better or for worse. The talk, by Adam Fletcher, aims to showcase; what these models are, how they work, and why they're important. One key aspect we'll explore is how these models generate text, helping you see that they operate based on maths, not magic.
We’ll explore how tools like chatbots can answer questions and how agents can adopt personas. We’ll also explore some accompanying techniques for customising the models like RAG and fine-tuning. Additionally, we'll look ahead to what the future might hold for LLMs. By the end of this talk, you'll understand these complex systems better and their potential and limitations in projects.
