Another old Flash animation from 2005. This is pretty much the first version of Epic Battle Fantasy. It actually looked pretty good at the time... looks ancient now.
For reference, this is Cat's last appearance chronologically, as he did not appear anymore and his role as Matt's main partner was replaced with Natalie (who first technically appeared in Attack Of The Black Mages 5, as the White Mage, btw).
...And that's how Goku became a Zombie/Final Boss in EBF1, right before Mr. Roszak changed him into Zombie Roku to avoid copyright infringement. Yeah, when I first watched this back then, I wasn't too happy of how after you and Goku died, you would get experiences, gils, and items. Mainly because A) Some games like the actual Final Fantasy game, would never let you do that after you and your party members died, and B) you would already get a Game Over right about now. =w=; ...But, nowadays, I now, realized that this is only a joke/the beta version of EBF1. I mean, if this was an actual beta game version of EBF1, then I say it's fun to play! =w=
Also, are any of the characters in this animation going to return in newer games of EBF? (Definetly not Matt because of course he's going to be in future games. Goku, I don't know... Why?, Copyright stuffs... Ninja-Pirate, maybe not as I see him as an early version of Lance. Freeze, probably. Why?, Freeze seems like something original, but his weakness of Fire attacks and magic will definitely be exploited if he/she were an enemy. Cat, as I said underneath this comment, Cat seems like and early version of Natalie. So maybe not Cat, not sure about Goku, maybe-maybe not Ninja-Pirate and probably Freeze.)
I would like to see Lancelot and Lazarus from "Another Final Battle" to make an appearance, maybe as an end game super boss! I would also like to see Red Mage come back, but he might be copyrighted.
