Evening..yeah it's Baugh fell, it's surely to be the toughest of them all, we shall be leaving it til last...How was the Coledale horseshoe?. It's a real classic, great views all around, especially coming off Crag hill...not keen on that eyesore of a path coming off sail though...looking forward to seeing your video of it...keep on walking folks.
@@atrampinthehills.841 thanks Steven, it was a great day. After the trek across seemingly endless open moor, that attractive descent down the track into Hubberholme must have seemed a joy. I sympathise with you about the heat, and particularly the humidity. That does me in any day.
Hi Michael...we always say that it's a shame when we lose height and head back to the valley, but not this time, it was good to get off this hill...it had very few merits, no outstanding features, lets hope the next one is better....That said the lower slopes and valley gave perfect walking.
Robert Thompson was the carpenter who put the mouse on all his furniture. That was a bit of a slog up to the trig point, the mist and the rain would have been welcome if I was climbing to cool me down. Great church and a well deserved pint towards the end! Thanks for taking us on the walk with you.
