Agreed. Even on Origin of Symmetry, which has amazing songs, the production’s just kind of “eh.” Meanwhile you hear “Citizen Erased” or “Plug-In Baby” live it’s like OH OKAY!
I know that with the awesome creativity of the Beautiful composer that they are blessed as musicians plus I just love everything about Matthew , Dominic and Chris They are grandly Fab One of my dreams is to meet then in person To show my gratitude for all the music has helped me achieve in the year 2020 We are all here this time to cross all barriers And if you remember to actually meet to talk about all the wonderful things we can achieve Thank you
ill be 45 soon and i LOVE Muse, i heard my son listening to them and i realized the music these guys make is far more than just songs on a piece of paper.. Matthew Bellamy is a genius, hes place isnt with all the gods of rock.. hes statue should be amongst with the ones of the great composers of all time
obviously everyone has their own "Musical"tastes! so for who love metallica ,they're the best band,4 who love coldplay, they're the best band, and so on for oasis, linkin parl, acdc, and thousand other bands, but let me say,j'm 43 j grew up with U2 and simple minds(my fav band with radiohead)and j saw a lot of bands in the last 26years..but NO ONE is comparable to MUSE,the love you feel for them after hearing them live...is infinite, and not comparable to any other band have you ever loved before. MUSE
Muse performing Interlude and Hysteria followed by the Back in Back riff at the Glastonbury Festival in England in June 26th 2010. Really BACK IN BACK??? Oh guys...
ive been listening to muse for only a year now. started of i only knew knights track...never paid much attention to anything else. then i stumbled by accident across a track called Dead Star. i now own every album( and dont care what anyone says but i love the 2nd law.) just gutted i never encountered dead star when it first came out... deprived ears....
just saw them Thurs eve in Quebec City. Can't think of how to express how much fun I had so I'll just say it was fantastic and leave it at that - thanks for posting!
It's bugging me Grating me And twisting me around Yeah, I'm endlessly Caving in And turning inside out 'Cause I want it now I want it now Give me your heart and your soul And I'm breaking out I'm breaking out Last chance to lose control And it's holding me Morphing me And forcing me to strive To be endlessly Cold within And dreaming I'm alive 'Cause I want it now I want it now Give me your heart and your soul I'm not breaking down I'm breaking out Last chance to lose control And I want you now I want you now I feel my heart implode And I'm breaking out Escaping now Feeling my faith erode
@oly36 I get that. But on the description above the setlist it says " Muse performing Interlude and Hysteria followed by the Back in Back riff at the Glastonbury Festival in England in June 26th 2010." (Back in Back instead of Back in Black.) See it?
Rip off? They're clearly not hiding the fact that they're playing a small snippet of an AC/DC song. They did that all the time during The Resistance Tour - play riffs from some of their favorite bands, bands that inspire them.
@maske2341 I'm pretty sure that's what he meant, Just used the wrong words. Pretty sure what he meant to say was " Is he just palm muting the guitar for the bass intro? sounds amazing" .. Also, Matt Bellamy IS A GOD.
@PETERILEY07 What's the first? I like this because of the interlude as intro. But then again, Seattle one was also legit where he did American national anthem that gradually changed to interlude and then to hysteria. T'was prtty cool
@tdgm09 What's your problem? I love Muse. I've just say that the sound (the recording or the live configuration) it's not very good. Really, I don't have any problem with Muse or with the user that have posted this video, I just talked about technical configuration. Sorry for my English, i'm tired... And Italian! =)
@SinXPeace Ok, right. This is your opinion and I agree. IMHO the sound it's not very good, not for quality, but for little difference beetween this live perfomance and another Glastonbury perfomance of Muse. I also help few local bands for sounds (in studio recording, not live), I'm not a troll. In some other versions of Hysteria the bass is the lead of the song and voice and guitar is louder. And I prefer that way. Can I? Sorry for my english, I've just woken up!
@LorenzoStevie Dude, you know nothing. In audio mixing, the bass is not louder than the bass drum, and the guitar is not louder than the snare drum. This is the basic principle, and I don't hear anything wrong. In Hysteria, the bass is a bit different. It leads the song rhythm with the bass distortion, and it still sounds pretty clear. There's reverberation that might have caused unclearness, but that's how it is; the power of live performance. Who am I? I got on enough stages to know this.
I love when Matt decides to play the bass line instead of scratching the strings in the intro.
Count me in! I think it's much better!
i love this
Could not agree more, wish the studio cut was done like that
Could anyone tell me if there's any other concert where He plays the intro that way?? Love it
@@Sly9339 smth similar is Live at Rome (even better)
The interlude before Hysteria always gives me the most goosebumps in Muse concert.
This is one of those very few bands whose sound I like better live than on studio recordings.
I've seen them twice myself, I can attest to this.
Mute Station I've seen then 19 times and they're better every single time I see them.
Agreed. Even on Origin of Symmetry, which has amazing songs, the production’s just kind of “eh.” Meanwhile you hear “Citizen Erased” or “Plug-In Baby” live it’s like OH OKAY!
JamesOhGoodie yep
I know that with the awesome creativity of the Beautiful composer that they are blessed as musicians plus I just love everything about Matthew , Dominic and Chris
They are grandly Fab
One of my dreams is to meet then in person
To show my gratitude for all the music has helped me achieve in the year 2020
We are all here this time to cross all barriers
And if you remember to actually meet to talk about all the wonderful things we can achieve
Thank you
i love the way he seems to be in a trance playing the interlude
Has to be the coolest bass line ever!
I love when Matt plays the bass riff on the guitar
My daughter was here close to the stage aged 18 was the best moment of her life back then she cried
i need to see these guys live again
I love interlude, best way to start the epicness that is Hysteria!
That interlude is so chilling and beautiful it's just insane.
Interlude is so good
ill be 45 soon and i LOVE Muse, i heard my son listening to them and i realized the music these guys make is far more than just songs on a piece of paper.. Matthew Bellamy is a genius, hes place isnt with all the gods of rock.. hes statue should be amongst with the ones of the great composers of all time
OMG ... ACDC right at the end!!!! That right there, THAT is why I freakin LOVE MUSE!!
I was there bloody amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Interlude reminds me of the begining of "A Strange Day" by The Cure another GREAT band. Muse, one of my favorites now.
COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLL
obviously everyone has their own "Musical"tastes! so for who love metallica ,they're the best band,4 who love coldplay, they're the best band, and so on for oasis, linkin parl, acdc, and thousand other bands, but let me say,j'm 43 j grew up with U2 and simple minds(my fav band with radiohead)and j saw a lot of bands in the last 26years..but NO ONE is comparable to MUSE,the love you feel for them after hearing them live...is infinite, and not comparable to any other band have you ever loved before. MUSE
that guitar solo part just...SO GOOD
I was there for this! It was my 14th birthday and I thought it was the coolest shit i had ever aeen
they need to release this on dvd/bluray and cd
I knew interlude sounded familiar! It’s adagio for strings!
Matt is a real Guitar Hero.
I wish Matt would do that intro at 1:29 ....it just sounds so good!!
Muse is the closest thing to perfection that I know..
Awesome performance as always
Glad to hear UNCLE is almost MC at the N Command Authority net compromise:) What a blast.
exactly!...muse is AMAZING!!!
Muse performing Interlude and Hysteria followed by the Back in Back riff at the Glastonbury Festival in England in June 26th 2010.
Really BACK IN BACK??? Oh guys...
such an unreal intro matt plays in this
Saw them live at the Emirates the other day and this song gave me the best kind of chills. Everyone was singing along and it was just perfect!
ive been listening to muse for only a year now.
started of i only knew knights track...never paid much attention to anything else.
then i stumbled by accident across a track called Dead Star.
i now own every album( and dont care what anyone says but i love the 2nd law.)

deprived ears....
just saw them Thurs eve in Quebec City. Can't think of how to express how much fun I had so I'll just say it was fantastic and leave it at that - thanks for posting!
@CGSC2323 That is. The best thing. I have ever seen.
mmmh... the voice...so perfect keep it that way
The intro is Interlude a sigle in the album Absolution.... and It is credited as being Muse's shortest track.... ´´Noob´´
love this intro!!
The true Muse fans cheered when the Interlude started, because they knew Hysteria was next... ;D
I love museic
think they should release all the performances from glastonbury 2010 on album!! :D
love the bass
I LOVE IT
Absolutely wonderful. Thank you for uploading this. :)
It's bugging me
Grating me
And twisting me around
Yeah, I'm endlessly
Caving in
And turning inside out
'Cause I want it now
I want it now
Give me your heart and your soul
And I'm breaking out
I'm breaking out
Last chance to lose control
And it's holding me
Morphing me
And forcing me to strive
To be endlessly
Cold within
And dreaming I'm alive
'Cause I want it now
I want it now
Give me your heart and your soul
I'm not breaking down
I'm breaking out
Last chance to lose control
And I want you now
I want you now
I feel my heart implode
And I'm breaking out
Escaping now
Feeling my faith erode
@wigum211 yup he is :D he did this effect in earlier hysteria concerts few years ago and it's nice to see him doing it again :D
@YamzYamzAndMoreYamz is the year that the glastonbury was formed.... muse was formed officially on 1994 before that they were called rocket baby dolls
@oly36 I get that.
But on the description above the setlist it says " Muse performing Interlude and Hysteria followed by the Back in Back riff at the Glastonbury Festival in England in June 26th 2010." (Back in Back instead of Back in Black.) See it?
Cool!
3:13 love it to see those guys :D
at 1:30, when matt plays the bass intro at guitar, it looks kinda rap or hip hop riff, but it's amazing !
*w* BEST PERFORMANCE EVER!!
Rip off? They're clearly not hiding the fact that they're playing a small snippet of an AC/DC song. They did that all the time during The Resistance Tour - play riffs from some of their favorite bands, bands that inspire them.

.. Also, Matt Bellamy IS A GOD.
goosebumps =)
@jaco1022 they did but their sound was spotty and hard to hear what they were doing from where I was sitting...
EPIC EPIC EPIC EEEEEEPIIIIIC!!!
@PETERILEY07 What's the first? I like this because of the interlude as intro. But then again, Seattle one was also legit where he did American national anthem that gradually changed to interlude and then to hysteria. T'was prtty cool

Really, I don't have any problem with Muse or with the user that have posted this video, I just talked about technical configuration.
Sorry for my English, i'm tired... And Italian! =)
the bass line (which is the base of the song ) was written by Chris and not Matt , so the credits to this song go to CHris :p
Eargasm
i cant watch the video cos the song makes my head bobble to much :D :D :D
@SinXPeace Ok, right. This is your opinion and I agree. IMHO the sound it's not very good, not for quality, but for little difference beetween this live perfomance and another Glastonbury perfomance of Muse. @GrimathyGunn YEAH!
AMEN BROTHA!
I have a doubt, Matt has an awesome thing under the strings that makes nice sounds, the blue light thing. What is it's name?
On the description you put Back In Back.
Thought you might like to know, but you should change it.
You gotta love the AC/DC ending ;D
Chris is like "matt we spoke about this before. My base riff is just too overpowering for your singing. I win this one."
When they are on stage its just Matt Bellamy's playground, they are the best band ever.
hey everyone, if u like this look up hysteria at glastonbury 2004, the bass at the start is fucking epic
@LorenzoStevie Dude, you know nothing. In audio mixing, the bass is not louder than the bass drum, and the guitar is not louder than the snare drum. This is the basic principle, and I don't hear anything wrong.

@thestrokes27180

i want to see in there :(
but i cant :(
I LOVE YOU MUSE :)
@YamzYamzAndMoreYamz Glastonbury years, was the 40th year of it
This song.....................=)

3 freakin weeks :D
@maria1543 he said back in black riff
back in black by ac/dc
the riff in the song
get it?
@wigum211 yup! sounds awesome, i like it much better that way
Anyone know what the significance of the year 1970 is on stage? I highly doubt that is the year that Muse formed...
Have they produced a DVD of this concert?
Thanks...
Moi aussi !
3:13 every generation loves muse
that mic has massive effect on it
Musegasmic.
