i find it fascinating that such intelligent people as Lex's guests have spent such little time researching the phenomenon. Its akin to asking an olympic ice skater about snowboarding techniques. you would think since both operate in cold environments that they would know alot about each others sport but in actuality they dont. Just shows how much education on the topic still needs to be done.

John's reason for thinking aliens can't possibly get here because it's too far is one of the most common reasons I hear from people. I think that is wrongfully assuming all other civilizations travel the same way we do.

I have heard the argument you are making a number of times in response, I would say however the only assumption is that there isnt another alien civilization out there that is capable of faster than light travel, which may very well be impossible.

@@generallobster actually we have pretty good theoretical understandings of how speed dilates time, and I'm not even slightly convinced that it would be enough for a 65million light year trip to be made In a human lifetime, perhaps you also assume aliens would age differently

      @harryseaton7444 2 роки тому

@@generallobster to the first part, that's all well and good, but 4.2 light years is a far cry from 65million, my sense is, that if advanced alien civilization is out there it's closer to 65million light years away from us than 4, at that kind of distance I think we would already know very well about their existence.

It's inconceivable to me that we're so broad minded we can say it's ridiculous that there isn't other life in the universe and there are craft we don't understand but are stuck for fear of what other's think and probably due to many years of mental conditioning trying to then show how smart we are by acting like, with a smile on our face, it's ridiculous that the craft are being operated by some type of beings. People need to get off the fence and realize their thinking is the product of years of a controlled effort to condition them. I just feel like when we do that we actually come off as weak and gullible rather than making a more bold and logical statement and basically saying I don't care what anyone thinks.

Funny thing is that the abduction rate was so high around the 30's 40's 50's and Hitler had a classified flying saucer air craft already patented, then Nikola Tesla's apprentice made a blueprint of the first American flying saucer years after Tesla died, theory is he had kept a lot of telsas work, and was hired by the us government, later on that aircraft was a black site called S4 where element 15 was discovered. The Roswell crash wasn't even the tip of the iceberg, it's been humans abducting humans all along.

i was abducted when I was 3 in 1979 on the 4000 block of N 2nd Street in Harrisburg. A being came into my play room where I was asleep and told me she wanted to hug me, I knew she was a cold lizard and said no. She said I would pay for saying that and I flew out the window. I woke and ran to my Mom. A few nights later George said to me, you better look out for the faceless monster under your bed. Being a 3 year old in a king size bed with a water fountain feature I knew the faceless monster could be at any side. I fell asleep and the faceless monster put his hand on my shoulder. I ran in to my Mom and slept with her and George for at least a week. I remember her scolding him saying this is what he gets for telling me such a story. When I was sixteen I fell asleep on day and sure enough wake to the faceless monster with a hand on my shoulder. I was startled and realized the hand was my own.

I've heard this viewpoint a million times. Its safe and rational thinking, but its based on conventional thoughts and consideration in 3d terms, which precludes strong arguments of current visitation.
Man thinks he is the most intelligent life form, with the ego to match, but life given the opportunity evolves with no end. Time and space are not navigational obstacles to all lifeforms. If you can think it, its already been done by someone/something out there.

But now that we can detect planets around stars I'm not so sure. Since it's a fact that craft of non human origin are regularly dropping in from space, exhibiting impossible performance, it seems less of a stretch to label the phenomenon as extraterrestrial than to babel on about how it could be some unknown race of beings from current earth. If other dimensions are real, then the group of beings that build these craft probably know how to travers them. However the extraterrestrial answer is the easiest to balance on the edge of Occam's razor.

If they are coming I think it would be from a mothership closer to earth rather than a planet thousands of light years away. Two reasons (1) the distances involved in travelling from another planet make it impossible, however, (2) if they somehow could overcome this issue by travelling faster than light, relativity means that huge amounts of time would pass outside of the craft - to those within the craft it might be days, for the rest of the universe thousand of years would pass. They would return home to find everyone they’d ever known dead and long gone. Then again we, as humans, can’t possibly understand everything; maybe other solutions are available, we just don’t understand them yet.

These ideas about other life and different physics are always so human-centric. The hubris, and stupidity in hand, of the human race makes us think that all life will be like us and think as we do, and because we don't understand anything else, or the potential new physics that involve the fact that UAP exists, none of this can be possible to these people. Newton thought he'd worked it all out until Einstein came along, and if you've half an understanding of Einstein, you'll know that someone, some day will work out what he was missing. WE HAVEN'T WORKED IT ALL OUT YET, PEOPLE! We're so primative compared to our potential. Just look where we were as a species a mere 200 years ago, and then think where we could be in another 200, 500 or 1000 years! Why can't these people realise this? It's just pure and simple common sense!

Bob Lazar is a very masterful story teller and liar. I feel like we are too far out on a random arm of the milkyway galaxy. Muhc like there's a "sweet spot" or "goldielocks zone" that provides prime conditions for life around a star, I bet there is a similar zone as you get closer to the center of the galaxy where almost every planet has the conditions for life. That is the only place in the galaxy where it's even feasible for civilizations to able able to interact with one another.

I know it’s hard to believe Lazar’s story. And his inability to prove his education is shady. But it’s been proven that he worked at Los Alamos as a physicist, that he was paid by the Dept of Naval Intelligence, 20+ people have come forward to corroborate parts of his story, he knew about Area 51 and S4 before anyone, he predicted element 115 which now exists, he knew the test flight schedule for the crafts and now all of these UAP’s are demonstrating the exact characteristics that he said they would and there is more evidence as well. Is that all coincidence?
Again, I know it’s hard to believe his story and he’s done some shady things but do some serious research into the topic unbiased and see where the evidence takes you.

@@mjjumps my problem is that during the Rogan interview he changed his idea of what he was dealing with to some sort of artifact from the deep past. I never heard him mention anything about that until he made that documentary with that wide eye'd hipster( I forget his name sorry). Basically his story has things added to it to keep it "en vogue" with what is popular for the time. Back in the late 80s early 90s it was zeta riticuli or some sort of star map related to that star system. And because ancient aliens has beco.e more popular as of late he has shifted the origin to so.e sort of artifact. I understand that he was an employee at Los Alamos, I have no doubt about his personal origin story. But I also believe that at best he was the victim of some sort of psychological operation and at worst the entire thing, from his origin story to his shifty narrative is some sort of controlled misinformation and he himself is a government agent meant to muddy the waters. I think almost everything concerning the subject as it pertains to our military is that these are our experimental aircraft and we are far ahead than what the public and other governments on our planet are aware of.
That all being said, I want to believe bro. I want aliens to be here watching us waiting to Intervene at the 11th hour when we are on the brink of destroying ourselves I just don't think that our government or any government for that matter even matters to them. If they were here and wanted to reveal themselves they'd do it with or without our governments consent. I don't even think it would be flesh and blood aliens in nuts and bolts space craft but some sort of alien AI that's here to purely observe us and nothing more. Even if we do discover them, or let's say it is flesh and blood aliens and we catch them slipping without the cloaking on. Their next move would be to just leave, or go further out so even if they make that mistake, they'll be far enough away to where we would just discredit the evidence ourselves. I know none of this is reassuring but trust me, I really want to believe just as much as you. But my sirens go off like mad crazy anytime Lazar opens his mouth.

@@lamasu I respect your stance but I believe different. And on Rogan he said that ONE of the crafts was from an archeological dig, not the craft he was working on. I’ve never heard his story change and I’ve watched every Bob Lazar clip that there is. Now, as far as the hipster Jeremy Corbell I can’t stand listening to him he’s so obnoxious and talks down to everyone but he is bringing some new stuff to the table and I appreciate that. I encourage you to watch the Lazar documentary on Netflix, it may answer some questions that you have. Now for the aliens, I can see that you could think the crafts were our experimental technology but they have been reported doing these things for at least 70years! There is no way we had that technology in the 40’s. And there are too many encounters documented with beings for me not to believe. All of those people aren’t lying.
You seem like a reasonable person and I get where you’re coming from. Maybe I should be a little more skeptical but the evidence leads me to believe.

@@mjjumps I've seen the documentary on Netflix and I agree with you in that it is very well done despite Jeremy Corbell being involved with his weird eyes, haircut and wannabe intrigue. I don't know if you've seen the documentary "Mirage Men" with that government agent that drove that guy that lived next to that military base insane. But the way that guy Richard Doty spins a story is just so much like how Lazar does the same thing. I urge you to watch that documentary, because that guy literally tells you that he's lying but also tells a story that makes you believe him at the same time, it's pretty wild. Good luck with everything man, I like to keep all possibilities on the table so I'm not 100% writing Lazar off, but watch "Mirage Men" and I think that will give you a good look into how I've formed my opinion. Keep looking up bro, I'm watching the skies always.

@@lamasu Mirage Men is awesome. The guy was Richard Doty and Paul Bennewitz was the victim. I don’t see any similarities between Doty and Lazar at all but that’s just my view. I have no problem with what Doty did because it was his job and I respect the idea of National Security. My problem is with the US Government and the 70+year cover up. If we knew the truth then there would be no debate about Lazar regardless if he’s lying or not we would know. Why is the UFO subject so dangerous? Why is Bob Lazar so polarizing? I’ve had serious, aggressive arguments defending Bob because people hate him so bad. It’s nice to see someone like you with a reasonable take on the situation. I also can entertain the idea that he’s lying (it’s possible) or that he was a patsy but all my extensive research on him has only pointed me in one direction that he is the real deal. But I could be wrong.
One thing about Mirage Men and Doty: he spread so much misinformation it’s hard to pick out what’s true. I can see how someone would be driven insane. I watch Doty a lot when he’s on. He talks a lot about UFO crash recoveries and alien bodies that we have in our possession. Is he telling the truth? I have no idea but it’s interesting.
Well all I can say is that we are going to have to agree to disagree on UFO’s and Bob Lazar. I hope that some day the truth, regardless of what it is, will come out.
