Turkish landmass is not ideal for launching rockets and satellites into space as if the rocket misfires it would land on neighbouring countries and they would be fined. They are looking at developing a space port in Somalia for that reason

1:40 Correction: Turkey does not have the ability to launch satellites; it only has the capacity to develop and build satellites, and even that with a lot of foreign assistance. The capacity to develop and build satellites is not the same as the capacity to launch satellites. Turkey sourced a rocket from Space X to launch the satellite because it does not have the capacity to do so independently.

You should know some basic facts that not all countries are conducive for launching rockets or satellites into space. Even Russia uses the Baikarone cosmodrome in Kazakhstan for launching satellites into orbit. France uses the French Guyana for launching satellites. Turkey is in the process of developing a space port in Somalia for this reason. They have the capability of launching rockets as they have developed hybrid rockets and launched them into space. Learn a few basic facts before making comments

No that’s not quite correct. You can’t launch satellites from Turkey as if there is a misfire it would land into neighbouring countries territory and they would be fined. Also the best location for launching satellites is near the equator and places where if there’s a misfire it will land in the ocean. Turkey is developing a space port in Somalia for that very reason

      AzaadiSAT-2
In September 2023, about 750 girls from across India, guided by Space Kidz India, Chennai, built the 8.7 kg satellite AzaadiSAT-2. The students were provided with Arduino kits, online classes, and practical sessions, and their teachers also supported them. Space Kidz India then fine-tuned, tested, and integrated the payloads into the satellite, and took pictures of it before sending it back to Earth.
      Kalamsat
The first student satellite built by an Indian high school, Kalamsat was named after former President and nuclear scientist Dr APJ Abdul Kalam and launched by NASA.
      150 satellites
In 2023, 150 satellites made by school children from across India were launched in Tamil Nadu's Chengalpattu district as part of the APJ Abdul Kalam Satellite Launch Vehicle mission. The mission was a joint venture between the APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation, Kalpakam Atomic Research Centre, Martin Foundation, and Space Zone of India.
