Hank, my man, this is one of the Best tutorials on the wobble head, and I’ve seen plenty. I’ve got some custom made painted leadheads, I’ve also got some BeastCoast tungsten heads and you can really tell the difference with tungsten 👍 I don’t have deep water ( none over 30’ ) so I use a 1/2oz and I’m in Raleigh NC so my two closest lakes the bottom is covered in pine needles 😜😤 which can be a problem. I wish you could come over and gimme some lessons😜✊🎣🦞🎣🍀🍀😎
I've been burning them up on the Biffle bug the last two trips to my local lake. There is nothing but silt bottom and WOOD. I really like the idea of being able to change the hook because sometimes I like to go with a larger hook, if the bait size will let me. That is a cure for short strikes. I'm using the Gene Larue heardhead in 11/16 oz. and it does a good job as long as I don't need a bigger hook.
GREAT information my man! Thanks! I literally did Laugh out Loud when you said..”I ain’t scared..you scared?..I ain’t scared”. My buddies and I have said this exact thing many times while fishing! 😂 I have those same lures but haven’t rigged like that..fixin to though! Have a great week BassGeek! 👍👌✌️🎣

I've heard talk about the Biffelhead/wobble head. Thank you for explaining where and how to use it. I'm gonna have to pick some of these up. Fits right in with the fishing I like to do.
I 🖤 those swingheads! Like you said their great for swimming but you can also pitch to cover all with the same rod. I even made my own DIY finesse version. Got a video on my channel if you ever want to see how I make them.
Sir thanks for all you have taught me i have learned so so much from you and your videos and even my kiddos have to. Love how you keep it simple and how you break everything down for us so no matter from a newbie to a novice angler's you can do what you are showing us. I mean I don't have most of the stuff that you show us how to fish but it is ok maybe one day we will. But sir thanks and appreciate all your time it means alot to me for sure and my kiddos to. Well sir till the next's time GodBless and Tight Lines.
Strike King swinging swim jig is money. I can slow roll them in March or swim it faster in summer and catch fish. I like to throw them around structure, the best reaction strike.
Sir it's such a good presentation. Put a worm on it, put a creature on it. It's amazing. You wouldn't believe how good a big ribbon tail looks on it in the summer. Especially one that floats. So when you stop it, it just slowly floats up.
My favorite way to fish, next to the C-rig. When on lg, fish I found a one to one and 1/2 once head and a Hugh creature bait well pull out the biggest fish. 🤫
Great video. I’m trying to get more into this rig and this will definitely help. I also like the Tokyo rig and would like to get your thoughts and help. A video on that would be great. Thanks
Thanks for the info..one question ..do you prefer it in super murky water? I love on a lake that we can’t hardly throw jerkbaits and swinbaits full of timber and rip rap and chunk rock ..seems like it would work well on suspended trees deep and up around timber on the bank but curious about if 1-2ft tops visibility hurts
I have a few of these from strike king and a few of those from heqdbanger lures. Used them some but the paint on the strike kings come off really fast.
Man once I can start beating the banks for some bass again, I’ll need to put this in my arsenal. It just seams like I can lighten the load just by carrying the interchangeable heads.
This one pond I hit has a lot of snot still, ploppers do it day and night but I loose em sometimes in the snot, would a dark buzzbait be better(evenings)? I got a toad buzz bait 3/8 but you have to burn it for it to swim right... A vid breaking down a Buzz Bait vs. Whopper Plopper? I need to give my wobble another go, but I like the sound of that mustad...😅
Here is a little tip I have used in for awhile now. I got it from Tommy biffle himself. If use the biffle bug it has a hollow insert. Stick a foam ear plug inside and the bait will stand straight up. It’s absolutely deadly
@@BassGeek you are one of my favorite you tubers and definitely one of the most knowledgeable. You keep it real and explain it in away that us weekend guys can understand it. Keep up the great work
Hank for lead heads. I have seen a few using 2 split rings so you can change out hooks. The use of the split rings gives the bait more action and less leverage for the fish to throw the hook. Especially when you are using a heavy head. Any thoughts on this?
It originally was painted but I’ve beat the paint off it. Lol. I don’t mind either way honestly. Some people want it all to match but it’s like matching flipping weight colors black always works. I think color on the head (as long as it’s not some crazy color) don’t matter that much
Ain’t sceered, through them wobble heads. I like em to. Do like shakey heads to. I am sure you have and I just don’t remember-show how to tie different knots. I am terrible at it. Lost one the biggest bass because of a knot as I was reaching down to grab that monster.
Shew on a swimjig. That's tough 3/0 is as big as I would go. 2/0 is a good one. 3/0 is a touch big and 2/0 is a touch small but both work. Now finding a swimjig with that size hook?
If your pursuing a reaction bite, I'd recommend vivid color and active appendages. If their mood proves otherwise, then it's a non kicker & less vivid color. I'm not ashamed to spend a couple of hours banging the bottom around a laydown post front & low visibility for one bite.
Never had a problem with a hookset opening it up or getting wrapped. I've used both the strike king and the Mustad which are made pretty much the same. It's a football head not really a grass head. Now strike king makes a structure head that has a point it comes threw grass better but you can change the hook.
Depends on what you want to do with it- if you're looking to deflect off stuff on bottom, like a crank- I would strat with 3/8th and adjust from there. If it's digging in and getting stuck too much lighten up- if it's wanting to rise too much when you reel- you keeping having to stop and let it fall back- you need a heavier head. But- if you're throwing a swimbait an want to keep it up in the column- you might need something as light as 3/16ths. From he bank , more often than not I end up at 3/8ths- that allows me to reel it pretty fast with a 7:1, deflect off the rocks- but not get bogged down in them. But I've had to lighten up to as little as 1/4 ounce to- just depends.
