It’s funny because you can do something similar to this a couple of times in the DLC. Between Florissax, Queelign, Jolan, and Anna that’s a lot of servants lmao.
People may see this as a way to get a dragon priestess gf, but remember, there's still only one ending to her questline where she gives you her heart ❤️

@@wanderingbufoon Only shards of the rune of death can kill people while it is enclosed in the Elden Ring and while Maliketh is guarding it. Once you kill him and take the rune, death returns to the Lands Between, which is the reason why the impenetrable thorns surrounding the Erdtree can burn away to begin with.
@@firekeeper1870 the reason being is because you're using it. At that point, you dictate who gets to live and who gets to die. You need to bring it back into the Elden Ring in order for it to start working throughout the lands. This is why even if you do die after getting the Rune of Death, you and all the other creatures you've killed will respawn still.

Did you finish the last boss before you did this? I think that's the trigger for her absence. She was gone after I visited after finishing endboss. I did not check for her after Bayle tho, so im not sure if thats the case.

@@mindtreat if you kill bayle before talking to her, she won't be available, and you'll only find her heart. it has nothing to do with the final boss.

I went left and beat bayle before even seeing her, instead of getting her quest I have an item that turns me into her
Yeah, pretty much her quest if you talk to her before Bayle too.
She’ll give you a dragon blessing before the fight but that’s about it, the big reward is the dragon form.

You'd think so! But she and the Ancient Dragon-Man boss both have actual human face data. It's just that in this case, she's affected by the item that lets you turn into a dragonoid form (her own heart). She could probably turn it off.

I wish that the DLC added a couple new endings for the game. Like imagine if you could do an ending for the Dragons. The Dragons reign supreme, the first true Dragon Lord is born.
The First True Dragon Lord was Plascidusax. Before Bayle defeated him, before Marika became a god and before Godfrey was chosen as the new Elden Lord by the Greater Will.

The player belongs to Marika. For better or worse, whether we like it or not. That's just the situation the player is in. Our immortality is a game mechanic, yes, but it's also tied to the story.
Marika keeps bringing us back to life in order to accomplish a goal: Rescuing her from her imprisonment and stalemate with Radagon. She does not care how this rescue takes place, nor who actually does it. She's perfectly cool with being melted away by the Flame of Frenzy. As least that's an end to her suffering. By her estimation death is a kind of rescue.
We cannot pledge ourselves to another lady/lord because Marika already owns us. We are her champion. We are the Blade of Marika. The Tarnished swore fealty to Marika LONG before the events of Elden Ring. Although it would be amusing (and hilariously difficult) if we could pull a Rogier and break our connection with Grace to do a kind of challenge run with no additional lives or access to Graces/Stakes of Marika checkpoints.

Hmmm.....i have had a rough outlook on the dragon path....i looked awful when doing so in Dark Souls 3, i never cared for 1 or 2......but i shall once more follow the dragon path.

Bayle was first major boss of DLC that i killed , because i liked my baby Ahab Igon so much (i found him by mistake)
This game is so confusing, man! But if it was easier... I'd probably still complain... hm...
In the DLC, you learn not to kill bosses early or you missed a lot of side quests
Damn, I didn't even know this was a thing. I would have 100% preferred a Spirit Summon over the Hammer and Dragon Form I'm never gonna use.
The issue with this DLC is that there's basically no direction, so I went through Jagged Peak and killed Bayle before even discovering any of the deep sleep stuff.

the summon is surprisingly good, has dragon incantation buffs and also has dodge roll, not the best summon for dps but great support(i think some people said she has some dialogues when summon but havent seen that myself)
