I live in England but i am such a fan of the show that i just had to go to Cheers in Boston before i died. absolute magic even though the inside is completly different. Was in total awe as i ate my Sam Malone burger and got plenty of souvenirs ! Thank you Cheers Boston !
Same here in Dorset-I've conquered my dread of flying twice just go to Boston & pay homage. The thing I love 'bout watching it now is i can look at all the outside shots & say to myself 'I've been there'.
Norm and Cliff are the best in Cheers but Cliff makes me laugh the hardest on cheers. The moments when he stiffened by a woman. And when he comes into a situation with a tough guy.
It's supposed to be about stupidity. In the outside world, Cliff is a failure, Norm is an outcast, Sam is a drunk, Diane is a judgmental idiot, and Carla is cruel and condescending, but it doesn't matter at Cheers, because they're all friends and they all care about each other. That's the whole point to the show.
Kelsey Grammer was "The Beast" in X-Men 3: THe Last Stand and John Ratzenberger was a Rebellion Soldier (The one who informed Han Solo aboutsomething or other) in Star Wars V The Empire Strikes Back.
i wish there was shows like this on. now there's only mindless "reality" shows which are oviously set up. *sigh* and im only 13... i should like that kinda stuff...
one of the cast member get to play a mutant in the third x men movie and another cast member was one of the rebels in the star wars film the empire strikes back.
Yes, "Cliff, the mailman" (John Ratzenberger) played in Star Wars IV. And I think it was "Frasier" (Kelsey Grammer) who played in X-Men, although I haven't seen that one. :-)
@joevictor53 I didn't agree with Norm as an outcast. Hell, he seemed to be welcomed in every pub in town. There was an instance when they had that bowling tournament with Gary's Olde Towne Tavern and Norm goes to the alley's bar and as soon as the opened the door you heard everyone inside exclaim, "NORM!" As for Cliff, he was the outcast, even in Cheers. Until that loser Paul came long.
I've lived in the USA my whole life and I can't honestly say that I have been to all that many bars to provide a wide testimonial of evidence, however, but I'd say that on the average this place is at least a little more on the upscale than the average American bar. Any place that serves or served Louis the 14th brandy/cognac (Whatever!) is upscale, even if it is on the low end of upscale, since 99% of all bars/restaurants, etc., just don't carry it!
Actually yes there are people who act this way, infact it's a rare psychological mental disorder that people usually grow out of and it's called "selective mutism". Rajesh suffers from this aswell in The Big Bang Theory. Those people can't talk to a specific group of people (Like in this case Cliff & Norm towards attractive women who have an interest in them), and sometimes when they try to force it, weird sounds can come out. A little inconsistency with Norm there, since he's married.
@themindstripper that's where you are wrong I have always been a fan and I think 90% of the things in cheers to be funny, this is just not one of them I'm just an honest fan
Such an excellent cast, great memories....nothin beats Cliff & Norm!

When I’m feeling down I watch this clip, I laugh at loud every time. When Norman joins Cliff in a high pitch voice that’s my breaking point 🤣🤣🤣🤣
This and that scene from fraser. With the car park and Roz hook up mix up... 😂
One of the funniest moments on TV. Makes me cry laugh every time!!!
I loved it too. Lately I've been walking "Memory Lane" and I came across this. Man, what a great show.
Rhea Perlman: Hey, "Cheers" is filmed before a live studio audience.
ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THE BEST MOMENTS ON CHEERS! THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING!! GOING RIGHT INTO MY FAV'S!!
CHEERS!!
Yeah, the music of Cheers is always a big part of me, no matter how many years will go by.
this show is awesome! the theme song is awesome! everything is awesome!
Great show
this always lifts my mood ha
best show ever tv was great back years ago
One of the finest shows of all time and Taxi. The lead in song is just a killer. A build up to great anticipation.
T Hyslop Many of The same writers from what I hear
Oh my God thats hilarious, i could not stop laughing.
Everyone knows Norm and Cliff don't sit with their backs to the door.
The lady's scared them off to the other end of the bar.
I Loved this show so much.
omg best pick up line ever :D xD
Norm and Cliff are the best in Cheers but Cliff makes me laugh the hardest on cheers.
The moments when he stiffened by a woman.
And when he comes into a situation with a tough guy.
Lol stiffened
Been there, done that!
Wore a dress and tried to pick up a mailman and a fat guy?
Enjoy these older sitcoms. Today's shows bounce around and change scenes like every 3 seconds. It's like the directors think every viewer has ADD.
Man, they really missed out! LOL
I search FULL EPISODES and this is what i get, bits and pieces of shows. What happened to the full episodes?
When is the last time you used a public coat rack? Especially in a bar! Oh memberberries....
classic scene

Theme music was cool.

Haha! Cliffy is greatness ;)
It's episode 2.15. Meaning Season 2, episode 15.
I agree that cheers is much better sitcom than Seinfeld, but Seinfeld was a great show aswell.
Seinfeld was very funny, but lacked heart. The Seinfeld aesthetic is for the kill of the joke. Cheers is better because it had heart.
Dusting off your thesaurus I see.
LoL I was 1 year old when the last episode came out xD
one of the cast member get to play a mutant in the third x men movie and another cast member was one of the rebels in the star wars film the empire strikes back.
~Episodes aren't 3minutes long...
@Aldrius Norm is an outcast? What the hell kind of messed up show were you watching?
Thanks spookey!
@Aldrius Pretty much. Except you got Cliff and Norm mixed up.
I thought it was Ann and Nancy Wilson for a second.
Well, it's a free world
Is this a typical American bar?!
minicooper BLOWS
where's the last show? Cant find it here on Yutube
yeah Norm!!
i think that cheers and seinfeld were two different classic shows. I liked them both but I have to give the edge to cheers for its simplicity
5 star, from sibiria.
sound very.......
cool comment from a cold place!
I think Alcoholics Anonymous 6% success rating has contributed greatly to the success of this show
Guilty as charged right here...
sometimes u want to go where everyone knows your name
These guys ah MaHtians? Only in Beantown

Blue Dress = if Amy Poehler got 43% hotter and 27% more feminine and then hopped in a time machine back to 1983.
MuzzaFuzzah hahahahalmfao
i appreciate the constructive criticism, not simply saying "shows today suck derpydoopyderp"
It's scene's like this that make Cheers the 2nd best Sitcom of all time - behind Seinfeld of course.
What season and episode?
It's in the title. 2.15 - S2 E15
this maybe silly but this tv-show made me optimistic when i watch. i dunno why? like a rehab
@joevictor53
Okay, maybe the other way around in regards to Cliff and Norm.
very funny
The ladies sound like they’re from Boston.
Actually, Norm's wife kicked him out with plans to divorce a few episodes earlier.
What brought you here?
Yes, "Cliff, the mailman" (John Ratzenberger) played in Star Wars IV. And I think it was "Frasier" (Kelsey Grammer) who played in X-Men, although I haven't seen that one. :-)
norm was NOT an outcast! LOL
Hello,Everyone.
classic

house.
Did she play junior sopranos girlfriend in season 1
see the where everybody knows your name music video at 2:25
haha! thanks!
That's just like me around women--except for the hot women.
I wanna se these two fight batman and robin
Womens hair in the 80's was so ridiculous. I am glad I entered the bar scene in the mid 90's.
The women of the 90's have my sympathy.
@Joe M bwhahahaha!!!
1:55 peter griffin impression.
O yeeaaah

The girls this it's a gay bar
@BlueLeopard200 Well then, I'd rather see it from the point of view that we agree 90% of the show.
@Aldrius I agree with everything but Cliff and Norm. Cliff was the outcast and Norm was the failure.
@BlueLeopard200 Sorry mate. Obviously, you 've never been a fan.
This is just sick and wrong--Cliff and Norm are NOT in their normal places!
@musicaltheatergeek79 That's what I'm saying
As if anyone would really act like that.
Esssssssssssssss
Me 2
reminds me of dumb and dumber
Grow a pair.

I hated this show so much.
not that funny
I thought this would be a funny scene because most things in Cheers are funny and well written
it wasn't
so I said so
not funny
