It just warms my heart to hear you speak both English and Vietnamese to your babies. I wish my mom had done the same when I was a kid. My father wouldn’t let her teach me Vietnamese though.
@@HomeTech-b3i He was afraid we would talk about him. Yes, seriously. He spoke a little himself because he was in Vietnam for the war. But he was paranoid at the thought of us being able to communicate with my mom without him understanding what we were saying.
did dad feel threatened by the language? or was scared about you getting bullied for it. honestly, hearing someone else speak your native language makes you into best friends when no one else can speak it. it just feels like home
@@diegojosue1030 He was paranoid about not knowing what we were saying. He wasn’t thinking about how I might be treated. He knew I wouldn’t be speaking it at school. I was the only Asian kid in my school. This was back in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s.
Adam's mommy's baby an lil helper! It shows how much he loved being on your chest an hip all that time as a tiny baby!!! ❤ Yo ur baby hardly cries anymore!
Adam was just a baby yesterday (to me) they get so big!!! I just wanted to say I love all the content that you create. Blessings to you and your family.
My parents gave me a big jumpstart with all languages, if it weren’t for them to speak two languages and actively teaching us, I would not be even able to buy myself bread across the boarders. They taught me to do something I love and live with passion. Nice to see new generation kids having solid foundation and respect for both languages, roots are important, we need to keep them appreciated❤ Good momma ❤️ God bless
There are so many fermented cultural dishes out there. I personally love making sauerkraut. We have a lot of German in our family. The funny thing about it that most don't know is that it was a Chinese dish originally. Genesis Khan introduced it to Europeans, and they just replaced the rice wine with salt. I can’t say a lot of good about the guy but he did influence culture to a high degree in many countries.
i lOVE lOVE lOVE watching you lOVE on your boys and invite them into the kitchen to interact with mommy during meal time ❤❤❤ sweet beautiful traditions and core memories all of you will treasure in years to come☮️💜🫶🏼 thank you fOR sharing the small moments with all of us!! lOVE your content ❤

aww they are already helping with food preparation. though why are the upper cabinets ribboned? does it not keep it from opening?
They’re holiday decorations
that looks delicious
What are the ingredients? And what does it taste like?
Dua chua is similar to Chinese pickle...eat with garlic/pork soup and a white tofu...we call the veggies "sawi pahit"
Adam ❤ why you sooo cute!!
